Hi, The AntiSpam3 add on to Pegasus is excellent. I can't thank you enough for creating/shareing it. I have been looking for a way to relieve some of my frustration with spam and this is an excellent help in the battle. I may be using it incorrectly. Since I am not as familiar with it as other people that have been using it for a long time, I'd like to find out if I'm using it correctly. First I have found that in order to drop an email on the AntiSpam window I must size my mail box to allow for part of the AntiSpam window to show through. I was wondering if it would be a lot easier if instead of having an AntiSpam window, to program it so a person could drag the email to the AntiSpam icon in the tool bar? It's just a nicety that would make it a tiny bit easier to use. I don't have the real estate on my screen. If I had a hand full of spam it wouldn't matter. But since I need to go into production (if you know what I mean) I'd like to make sure I am using AntiSpam in the most efficient manner. What I am doing is: 1. Dragging the email to the AntiSpam window. 2. Double clicking on the line that is not a localhost or a private IP address to get the email address. 3. If there is no valid email address I move the window to the left so I can see the X in the upper right to close the window. 4. Double clicking on the same line to add the email address to the complain box. 5. Putting a check mark in the address in the complain box. 6. Pressing the send button. 7. Right clicking on the original email and marking it read. 8. Deleting the original email out of my spam folder. Of course I have no right to request anything since you two have provided an excelent program. But just in case you are up to suggestions. (or maybe I'm not using AntiSpam correctly) What I would like to see is: a. Open the AntiSpam window two inches to the left of it's current position. I realize that if I used a PC with a higher resolution this wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't be able to read the letters on this screen if I did. b. When the AntiSpam window opens it would be nice if it would automatically search for an address without me double clicking on it. c. After the AntiSpam searches for an email address it would be nice if it would automatically add that address to the complain window. d. After the AntiSpam adds an address to the complain window it would be nice if it would put a check mark in the box so it's ready to send it out. e. After it I click on the send button it would be nice if the program would mark my original email as read and delete it. If the above suggestions were implimented it would eliminate 6 of the 8 steps I need to do for each and every spam email I want to report. When processing thousands of these it would sure be a large help to remove that many steps. (Unless of course I am doing something wrong in my processing) Any and all comments are certainly welcome. Thank you, Gary Kuznitz |
