OTOH, tclAE::build::resultData 'ALFA' syso "GMT " works in Alpha 7 (at least under OS X), but not in Alpha X (nothing happens for a long while, and then there is an "Error: AESend failed: OSErr -1712"). >The Finder never was the one doing the GMT calculation, we just >didn't realize. Yeah, I had a vague recollection that something like that had been mentioned on this list earlier. >>I haven't tried the [clock format] in Alpha 8. > >Assuming that [clock] works for everything you need it to, that >choice is up to you. I actually just wanted the timestamps to be correct (not claiming e.g. 20:00 UTC (\approx GMT), when it's really 20:00 CET). I don't think [clock format] is better in this case; I just used it to demonstrate that the correct information was somewhere in the system. -- This e-mail has been sent to you by the Alpha-Bugzilla bugsystem (http://www.maths.mq.edu.au/~steffen/Alpha/bugzilla/) I am an automated system, please direct your replies or complaints to my maintainer <st...@ma...> |
