Hi, It may not be provided within ASDK, yes, you may code this. On the other hand, you may refer to the publications related to location management of moving objects (i.e. mobile agents). I recently read a paper that discuss some methods. "Locating Objects in Mobile Computing", Evaggelia Pitoura, George Samaras IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON KNOWLEDGE AND DATA ENGINEERING, VOL. 13, NO. 4, JULY/AUGUST 2001, pp. 571-592 Alan -----Original Message----- From: agl...@li... Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Any ideas >as to how to solve this? Well, that's a hard problem actually, and as far as I know it has not been solved inside the ASDK. You need to code it yourself. You could register proxies to a central Aglet for instance. But then again, its a new single point of faillure. There are no magic solutions though. regards vincent ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
