[Adrillforce-devel] forssim and first release

Dear list,

The recent release of medx3d (refer to www.h3d.org) have made it
possible to fully run the adrillforce project.
At this point, we at Forsslund Systems AB have decided to not only
release the force feedback algorithms
of our simulator under development, but the complete source code.
Together with a expanding team, active
development have started and during the last two weeks we have worked
at porting the code to fit with medx3d,
(changing y-axis definition etc), adding drilling node, to compile
well in GNU/Linux including configure scripts
and documenting the steps taken to setup development environment.

So: the adrillforce project have now gone up into project "forssim",
whose first release 0.0.1 we have launched
today. We keep this list for discussion until we setup another one.
