The reference to the "New Script..." menu item was kinda bogus (but the script managed to stay runnable through several major releases without any changes). I avoided changing the script for the purpose of testing some backward compatibility. The script has been fixed in CVS; also fixed is the clipping of the annotations, which gets introduced as a result of a separate bug in Costello when the annotation gets edited (the size should only be added if the annotation is manually resized).
