I have tried using Abbot AssertImage by following the instructions found in other forums, but for some reason my assertion always fails. I've changed the source code to write out both jpgs and both look exactly the same and when I compare then on the command line they are the same. I'm not sure where to go with this one and I need some image comparisons for regression testing. Can anyone help here... please?

In case anyone has run into this problem I found a workaround. Instead of comparing the images I write out both images to file (the first one is already written on recording) and compare the two binary files. This does seem to work correctly. If anyone is interested in the code let me know. I've also changed the format of the files from jpg to png. Png's are usually much smaller.

Do you still have the code available for comparing the images?
Thanks.
