That happens when you haven't signed with your audible account in your PC. You should open the aax file with Audible Manager, or perhaps you don't have installed Audible Manager in your computer. Please check that you have installed this app and opened the file with your audible account.

To fix this:

1. Download and install https://download.cnet.com/AudibleManager/3000-2139_4-10205472.html (It is an ugly green mess, but alters the files in some way that allows the converter to work.)
2. Download your Audible (AAX) file to you computer
3. Open the AAX file in Audible Manager and play it, then pause/stop it after a few seconds
4. Now run the conversion and it should work.
5. Once you have successfully converted one file, the rest seem to convert just fine without being opened in Audible Manager first.
