Spotifast

Spotifast is a native Spotify desktop client written in Rust with egui and librespot. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows without embedding a browser engine, which keeps startup and memory usage relatively low. Premium users can play music locally with gapless playback, audio caching, normalization, and support for high-quality streams. The application can also control other Spotify Connect devices and discover supported receivers on the local network. Its library interface covers playlists, Liked Songs, albums, artists, podcasts, and saved episodes. Search spans songs, artists, albums, playlists, podcasts, and episodes with context-sensitive actions. Spotifast was previously named Fastpotify, and the project preserves compatibility with existing settings and scripts.
