Cordless

Cordless is an archived terminal-based Discord client built for power users who prefer keyboard-driven chat. It was designed to have a low memory footprint while using Discord’s official API and avoiding third-party data services. The app provides a text user interface for navigating servers, channels, messages, direct messages, users, and an internal console. It supports prebuilt binaries, source builds with Go, keyboard shortcuts, a shortcut editor, and a scripting interface for extension. The project clearly warns that third-party Discord clients violate Discord’s Terms of Service and that users, including the maintainer, have been banned. Cordless is no longer actively developed, but the repository remains available for users who understand the risks and want to build it from source.
