    EmojiOne Color SVGinOT Font

    EmojiOne Color SVGinOT Font

    EmojiOne Color SVGinOT Font

A color and B&W emoji SVGinOT font built from EmojiOne artwork with support for ZWJ, skin tone diversity and country flags. The font works in all operating systems, but will currently only show color emoji in Firefox, Thunderbird, Photoshop CC 2017, and Windows Edge V38.14393+. This is not a limitation of the font, but of the operating systems and applications. Regular B&W outline emoji are included for backward/fallback compatibility. SVG in Open Type is a standard by Adobe and Mozilla for color OpenType and Open Font Format fonts. It allows font creators to embed complete SVG files within a font enabling full color and even animations. There are more details in the SVGinOT proposal and the OpenType SVG table specifications. The default serif, sans-serif and monospace font for most Linux distributions is DejaVu. DejaVu includes a wide range of symbols that override the EmojiOne Color characters.

    Lua

    Lua

The Lua development repository, as seen by the Lua team

Lua is a powerful, efficient, lightweight, embeddable scripting language. It supports procedural programming, object-oriented programming, functional programming, data-driven programming, and data description. Lua combines simple procedural syntax with powerful data description constructs based on associative arrays and extensible semantics. Lua is dynamically typed, runs by interpreting bytecode with a register-based virtual machine, and has automatic memory management with incremental garbage collection, making it ideal for configuration, scripting, and rapid prototyping. Lua is designed, implemented, and maintained by a team at PUC-Rio, the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Lua was born and raised in Tecgraf, formerly the Computer Graphics Technology Group of PUC-Rio. Lua is now housed at LabLua, a laboratory of the Department of Computer Science of PUC-Rio.

    PenEcho

    PenEcho

Think with AI beyond the chat box

PenEcho is an open-source shared canvas that makes handwriting, equations, diagrams, and spatial context part of an AI conversation. Users can draw with pressure-sensitive ink, erase, pan, zoom, type formatted text, and arrange ideas across a large virtual workspace. The application sends focused visual regions to an API, Codex CLI, or Claude CLI and converts model responses into editable canvas commands. AI output can include text, formulas, plots, mixed drawings, erasures, and declarative animations. Sparse tile rendering keeps the 20,000-by-20,000 logical canvas efficient without allocating one enormous bitmap. Local snapshots, undo and redo, lasso selection, PNG export, and manual or automatic AI modes support iterative work. PenEcho is available as a desktop application or Node.js package and supports configurable models, reasoning levels, request retention, and plugins.

    Remotion

    Remotion

    Make videos programmatically with React

Remotion is a cutting-edge library that lets developers create real videos programmatically using React components, transforming familiar UI paradigms into a flexible, code-driven video production workflow. Instead of traditional timeline editors, Remotion leverages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to define video frames, animations, and transitions, which means developers can use states, props, loops, and component hierarchies to automate complex motion graphics. Because it integrates with the React ecosystem, Remotion fits naturally into modern front-end stacks and tooling, and can produce dynamic content like personalized videos, dashboards, and data-driven animations with the same code used to build interactive web apps. The framework supports exporting to standard video formats, audio synchronization, frame callbacks, and powerful tooling for previewing and debugging, so teams can iterate quickly and reliably.

    Salt

    Salt

Automate the management and configuration of infrastructures at scale

Salt Bootstrap is a shell script that detects the target platform and selects the best installation method. (Supported Platforms) Your Salt master can manage itself, so a Salt minion is installed along with the Salt master. Before implementing Salt to manage any data center infrastructure it is important to understand a few things about Salt platform support including: What platforms will the Salt Master run on? What systems and infrastructure can be managed by a Salt Minion? Salt runs on and manages many versions of Linux, Windows, Mac OS X and UNIX. The Salt Supported Operating System document defines the specific operating systems that are fully supported and outlines the package creation policy for each operating system listed. The document also outlines the best-effort support policy for additional operating systems. Salt Bootstrap is a shell script that detects the target platform and selects the best installation method.

    Shaka Player

    Shaka Player

JavaScript player library / DASH & HLS client / MSE-EME player

Shaka Player is an open-source JavaScript library for adaptive media. It plays adaptive media formats (such as DASH and HLS) in a browser, without using plugins or Flash. Instead, Shaka Player uses the open web standards MediaSource Extensions and Encrypted Media Extensions. Shaka Player also supports offline storage and playback of media using IndexedDB. Content can be stored on any browser. Storage of licenses depends on browser support. Our main goal is to make it as easy as possible to stream adaptive bitrate video and audio using modern browser technologies. We try to keep the library light, simple, and free from third-party dependencies. Everything you need to build and deploy is in the sources. We support iOS 12+ through Apple's native HLS player. We provide the same top-level API, but we just set the video's src element to the manifest/media. So we are dependent on the browser supporting the manifests.

    Snapcast

    Snapcast

    Synchronous multiroom audio player

Snapcast is a multiroom client-server audio player, where all clients are time synchronized with the server to play perfectly synced audio. It's not a standalone player, but an extension that turns your existing audio player into a Sonos-like multiroom solution. Audio is captured by the server and routed to the connected clients. Several players can feed audio to the server in parallel and clients can be grouped to play the same audio stream. One of the most generic ways to use Snapcast is in conjunction with the music player daemon (MPD) or Mopidy. The encoded chunks are sent via a TCP connection to the Snapclients. Each client does continuous time synchronization with the server, so that the client is always aware of the local server time. Every received chunk is first decoded and added to the client's chunk-buffer. Knowing the server's time, the chunk is played out using a system dependend low level audio API (e.g. ALSA) at the appropriate time.

    Sophia Script for Windows

    Sophia Script for Windows

The most powerful PowerShell module for fine-tuning Windows

Sophia Script for Windows is a scripting environment or DSL (Domain-Specific Language) designed to provide scripting capabilities on Windows systems in a high-level, expressive way. It abstracts over native APIs and offers constructs that make system automation, file manipulation, registry access, and user scripting easier than raw PowerShell or batch scripts. The repository presumably contains runtime, script engine, and library helpers to simplify common Windows tasks (e.g., service control, UI automation, scheduled tasks). Because Windows scripting often involves glue between COM, WMI, and system APIs, Sophia’s design likely aims to unify those surfaces behind consistent semantics. For developers or sysadmins, it offers an alternative tool for building lightweight Windows automation without resorting to full compiled utilities. While its adoption might be niche, the project showcases how domain-specific scripting languages can simplify cross-cutting OS tasks.
