GHDL
VHDL 2008/93/87 simulator
This directory contains the sources of GHDL, the open-source analyzer, compiler, simulator and (experimental) synthesizer for VHDL, a Hardware Description Language (HDL). GHDL is not an interpreter: it allows you to analyze and elaborate sources for generating machine code from your design. Native program execution is the only way for high-speed simulation. Full support for the 1987, 1993, 2002 versions of the IEEE 1076 VHDL standard, and partial for the 2008 and 2019 revisions. By using a code generator (LLVM, GCC or, x86_64/i386 only, a built-in one), it is much faster than any interpreted simulator. It can handle very large designs, such as leon3/grlib. GHDL runs on GNU/Linux, Windows and macOS; on x86, x86_64, armv6/armv7/aarch32, aarch64 and ppc64. You can freely download nightly assets, use OCI images (aka Docker/Podman containers), or try building it on your own machine. -

This repository contains hardware designs and software for HackRF, a low-cost, open source Software Defined Radio platform. HackRF One from Great Scott Gadgets is a Software Defined Radio peripheral capable of transmission or reception of radio signals from 1 MHz to 6 GHz. Designed to enable test and development of modern and next-generation radio technologies, HackRF One is an open-source hardware platform that can be used as a USB peripheral or programmed for stand-alone operation. HackRF One has an injection-molded plastic enclosure and ships with a micro USB cable. An antenna is not included. ANT500 is recommended as a starter antenna for HackRF One. HackRF One is test equipment for RF systems. It has not been tested for compliance with regulations governing the transmission of radio signals. You are responsible for using your HackRF One legally. -

An open source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion
An open source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion. A construction and management simulation video game that simulates running a transport company. OpenLoco is an open-source re-implementation of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion (CSL), the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. OpenLoco aims to improve the game similar to how OpenTTD improved Transport Tycoon, and OpenRCT2 improved RollerCoaster Tycoon. CSL was originally written in x86 assembly, building on top of the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 engine. However, the engine has changed substantially enough that OpenLoco currently does not share its codebase with OpenRCT2. The reimplementation efforts of OpenLoco are gradual, aiming to ultimately rewrite the entire game in C++. In the earlier years of the project, the in-game UI has been completely reimplemented, and most of the underlying data and object structures have been uncovered. Recent efforts have focussed on reimplementing the game (command) logic. -

Repositories for providing PowerPC packages missing in distributions
This project is for providing updated binary packages for Linux on PowerPC where the distributions aren't helping. The currently active projects are: - Ubuntu 18.04 rebuilt for powerpc (32-bit big endian with optional 64-bit kernel). This is a logical continuation of the Ubuntu powerpc port which was discontinued after version 16.04. - Debian PowerPC 64-bit stable kernel. This is the latest kernel from the stable distribution (currently trixie) built for ppc64. For those that would prefer a stable kernel build when running Debian sid ppc64 or Debian sid powerpc with the powerpc64 kernel. - Debian powerpc/ppc64 builds of zfs-linux. This enables using ZFS on your Debian sid powerpc/ppc64 setup. Mostly useful for 64-bit kernels, but could possibly be used for 32-bit kernels as well with some tweaks. -
