xvideocapture chung is a free direct to divx screen capture program . It captures computer's screen images (fullscreen / window / zone) directly and instantly into very compact divx .avi video file with stereo sound , with very low cpu load. Can run on a small netbook with windows 7.I used camstudio but now i use xvideocapture , it is fast and converts directly into divx.

...Currently it is designed for use with the SIMA-VS502 video switch, and I am using it in our local TV Station. There are changes that need to be made to the source code to be able to use it elsewhere. I am considering moving to using the ATEM switchers for playback in HD.

Long term goal to create MythTV hooks (Linux) but some bits are useful elsewhere. Hope to utilize any official Vulkano SDK for Linux one is ever released. Note my Hava died in May 2013 so there will likely be no more updates for Hava devices.
