Diffuse is a graphical tool for comparing and merging text files. It can retrieve files for comparison from Bazaar, CVS, Darcs, Git, Mercurial, Monotone, RCS, Subversion, and SVK repositories.

Git History is a web-based tool for visually browsing the history of a file from a Git repository. It lets users inspect how a file changed over time by replacing a supported repository URL with the Git History domain. git-flow-next is a branching model and a set of command-line extensions tailored to enforce that branching model for Git repositories. The underlying workflow was first described in 2010 and is designed around two long-lived branches (master (or main) for production-ready code, and develop for integration) and multiple supporting short-lived branches (feature, release, hotfix) for day-to-day development. With git-flow, each type of branch has explicit purpose and merge rules: features merge back into develop, release branches prepare towards master, and hotfixes branch off master for urgent repairs. The repository you referenced provides the actual shell scripts (and wrappers) implementing sub‐commands like git flow feature start, git flow release finish, etc., making the workflow operational rather than purely conceptual.

Gitslave is a script for coordinated version control of large projects combining code from multiple independent repositories using Git. More flexible than traditional git submodules, gitslave provides a simple wrapper around command-line git that manages a directory tree with multiple subsidiary ("slave") git repositories in sub-directories of a "master" git repository. Any git command run from the "gits" wrapper will be performed in all the git repositories; for example gits checkout -b newbranch will create the new branch in all repositories. Gitslave has been used for mid-sized product development with many slave repositories (representing different programs and plugins), branches, tags, and developers; and for single-person repositories tracking groups of .emacs and .vim repositories (in the latter case, it is basically used to keep the slave repositories up to date via a single command).

Codestriker is a web application supporting online code reviewing, typically diffs generated by a Source Code Management system or plain unidiff patches. There are integration points with CVS, Subversion, Clearcase, Perforce and Visual SourceSafe.

Cvsplot is a perl script which analyses the history of a CVS-managed project. The script executes on a set of files, analyses their history, and automatically generates graphs that plot lines of code and number of files against time.

sdSVN is a Subversion (SVN) client GUI like WinCVS written in Java using Swing Application Framework and SVNKit.

BinCoMerge is a binary files diff at byte resolution. It shows hexadecimal and raw ASCII data. BinCoMerge is seeking for common blocks from the bigger ones to the lower ones. It works by levels of minimum block sizes which are powers of 2. For example, with a file sizing between 16 KiB and 32 KiB, Bincomerge will firstly seek for all common blocks bigger than 16 KiB. Then, it will seek for all common bigger than 8 KiB, then 4KiB, 2KiB, 1024 Bytes... Because it works by levels, BinCoMerge can show some results before it finishes.

This simple utility alows you to view the differences in branches of you cvs project in a graphical and easy to understand way.

CVS Chronoview is a client-side tool that presents a chronological view of the history of multiple files in a CVS repository. It does not rely on any server-side tool.
