MegaMek is a networked Java clone of BattleTech, a turn-based sci-fi boardgame for 2+ players. Fight using giant robots, tanks, and/or infantry on a hex-based map. A warlords II clone re-written from scratch in Java
... of the original LOL gameplay (and re-uses most of the original LOL graphics too!), but has been tested on the modern Windows and Linux platforms. Many planned LOL2 features (such as campaigns) are not yet implemented; I'll keep adding these features, time permitting. P.S. I was just playing a "game" called "JDK8" (to learn about e.g. Java sound, Java full-screen abilities, etc.). The LOL2 is MY "savegame". That the "save" of my game is in itself a game is fun. -

Java Open Chess is a project written in Java in NetBeans IDE. There is possibility to play for 2 players on local computers and via network connection.
