itom
itom - an Open Source Measurement, Automation and Evaluation Software
itom is an open source software suite for operating measurement systems, laboratory automation and data evaluation. One main application of itom is the development and operation of sensor and measurement system for instance in a laboratory environment. Therefore, the software has to be able to communicate with a wide range of different hardware systems, such as cameras or actuators and should provide a diversified and as complete as possible set of evaluation and data processing methods. Additionally, the rapid prototyping of modern measurement and inspection setups requires a system, where parameters or components can easily be changed at runtime, necessitating the availability of an embedded scripting language. Finally, when operating a measurement system, it is also desirable to extend the graphical user interface by system adapted dialogs and windows. Testing images for scientific purposes
The TESTIMAGES archive is a huge and free collection of sample images designed for analysis and quality assessment of different kinds of displays and image processing techniques. The archive includes more than 2 million images originally acquired and divided in three different categories: SAMPLING and SAMPLING_PATTERNS (aimed at testing resampling algorithms), COLOR (aimed at testing color rendering on different displays) and PATTERNS (aimed at testing the rendering of standard geometrical patterns). Spatially Oriented Format for Acoustics
This project provides the SOFA Toolbox, a toolbox for the Spatially Oriented Format for Acoustics (SOFA). The SOFA Toolbox is the successor of the SOFA API for Matlab/Octave. SOFA is a file format intended for reading, saving, and describing spatially oriented data of acoustic systems. Examples of data are head-related transfer functions (HRTFs), binaural room impulse responses (BRIRs), spatial room impulse responses (SRIR), multichannel measurements such as done with microphone arrays, and directionality data of loudspeakers. Superconducting QUantum Interference Devices (SQUIDs) control software
OpenSQUID is a Python framework for the control of SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) readout electronics. It currently supports the Star Cryoelectronics PCI-1000 electronics with PFL-100 and PFL-102 flux-locked loops. Simultaneous operation of both PFL-100s and PFL-102s from a single PCI-1000 is supported. More features are under development. The software is implemented in Python and aims to be easily integrated with user-defined measurement and control code. -

Perl OBD-II Logger
A Perl program for logging OBD-II PID data
The goal of the Perl OBD-II Logger project is to create a flexible and efficient application that can capture and log OBD-II Mode 0x01 PID data from an automotive scantool. It is designed with accurate and efficient PID data logging in mind, and provides NO support for reading or resetting diagnostic trouble codes. By default, the output log file contains time-stamped PID values in a simple Comma Separated Values (CSV) format that can be readily imported into popular data analysis or spreadsheet applications. (Output to an SQLite3 database file is also available). It is written in Perl, so it runs in any computing environment with a working Perl interpreter. The program supports scantools that are based on the ELM Electronics ELM327 or OBD Solutions STN1110 programmed microcontrollers. It has been tested with scantools using legacy RS-232 serial, serial over USB, and Bluetooth hardware interfaces. Perl OBD-II Logger even runs on the popular Raspberry Pi computer! -

AMICI enables the real-time execution of physical process models developed in Matlab Simulink, in a way that they can interact with real cyber systems, e.g., ad-hoc software or even real malware. The simulated physical models may come from a wide range of domains, e.g., power generation, power transmission, railway transportation, chemical processes.
