Pixie is an open-source observability tool for Kubernetes applications. Use Pixie to view the high-level state of your cluster (service maps, cluster resources, application traffic) and also drill down into more detailed views (pod state, flame graphs, individual full-body application requests). Pixie uses eBPF to automatically collect telemetry data such as full-body requests, resource and network metrics, application profiles, and more. Pixie collects, stores and queries all telemetry data locally in the cluster. Pixie uses less than 5% of cluster CPU and in most cases less than 2%. PxL, Pixie’s flexible Pythonic query language, can be used across Pixie’s UI, CLI, and client APIs.

Plinko was originally an experiment with Prefix Trees and log parsing. The general concept is to have a single end point you can send any data to, in a "fire and forget" fashion. Plinko should identify and parse the data completely without the sending system caring what it sent. The latest version supports named fields in the STL files for tagging data parsed in the Prefix Tree and anonymous functions for parsing dynamic message payloads. We now output JSON objects and I'm working on HBase integration. By outputting to JSON it also leaves open the possibility for on the fly in memory correlation between events. Pop Framework (or Pop), http://www.popframework.net, is a bean-based MVC framework for Java/J2EE web applications. Pop implements IoC, Dependency Injection, and AOP. Pop provides annotations for users to define and reference a bean. Pop can help users to customize a bean, a scope, a factory and a reference in object-oriented way. Pop treats a bean as the model of a web page (JSP or servlet), the webpage itself is a view of the bean. The model provides the data for the view, the view is responsible for rendering the data. The Pop itself acts as the general-purposed controller for all views and models. The beans defined in server-side can be referenced by hyperlinks in client-side directly. Views and Models are therefore loosely coupled in Pop. A model can have multiple views for different devices and different locales. Each view and each model can be maintained and optimized independently and in parallel.
