SnmpB is an SNMP MIB browser written in QT. It supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c & SNMPv3. SnmpB can browse/edit/load/add MIB files and can query SNMP agents. It also supports agent discovery, trap events, and graph plotting.

ArrowOS is an AOSP based open source project started with the aim of keeping things simple, clean and neat, both for the Android system and users. We understand the pain of unnecessary and sometimes rarely used mods/features being shipped with custom roms nowadays which may end up causing battery drains and/or memory leaks. This is being strictly avoided on our side keeping everything to a bare minimum, delivering the stable performance all the time without destroying the AOSP interface. With users getting more used to tweaks and features, we added just the right stuff that will be actually USEFUL at the end of the day.

4MLinux is a miniature Linux distribution focusing on four capabilities: maintenance (by using it as a system rescue live CD), multimedia (for example, for playing video DVDs), miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and mystery (meaning small Linux games).

Phoenix OS is an Android emulator and operating system that allows you to run Android apps and games on your Windows desktop. It's a free, lightweight desktop environment that includes a taskbar, desktop icons, file management, and multi-window support. Phoenix OS is designed to provide a desktop-like experience on a larger screen. It supports both Intel and AMD processors, but it's more compatible with Intel processors. In recent linux kernels, the /proc/acpi/event interface has been deprecated. The same information (and more) is available via netlink (a way for the kernel to communicate with userspace that is usually used for networking) and the input layer (mouse, keyboard, power button, etc...). This version of acpid supports netlink and the input layer.

bWAPP, or a buggy web application, is a free and open source deliberately insecure web application. bWAPP helps security enthusiasts, developers and students to discover and to prevent web vulnerabilities. bWAPP prepares one to conduct successful penetration testing and ethical hacking projects. What makes bWAPP so unique? Well, it has over 100 web bugs! It covers all major known web vulnerabilities, including all risks from the OWASP Top 10 project. The focus is not just on one specific issue... bWAPP is covering a wide range of vulnerabilities! bWAPP is a PHP application that uses a MySQL database. It can be hosted on Linux/Windows with Apache/IIS and MySQL. It is supported on WAMP or XAMPP. Another possibility is to download bee-box, a custom VM pre-installed with bWAPP. Masscan is an Internet-scale port scanner, able to scan the entire Internet in just 6 minutes or less. It's considered the fastest port scanner and is similar to the famous port scanner nmap, and like port scanners scanrand and unicornscan it uses asynchronous transmissions. However, it is more flexible when it comes to arbitrary port and address ranges. Masscan not only detects when ports are open, it can also check banners. And while it is useful for smaller, internal networks, it's designed with the entire internet in mind. Do take note however that Masscan uses its own custom TCP/IP stack, so anything other than a simple port scan could cause conflict with the local TCP/IP stack unless certain configurations are done.

Make sure Android applications are compatible with your Chromebook, first try to install an official application. Download an official app, such as Evernote, from the Chrome Web Store. Then download an open source game, like 2048.APK Game by Uberspot and load it as an unpacked extension. Go to chrome://apps and launch it there, ignore warnings. Install a sample Android app from the Chrome Store to get the runtime. Test out that app, make sure it runs on your hardware. Ubuntu might need sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++6. Install Node.js and install the tool (might need a sudo prefix). With Chrome 38+ you can now side load as many applications as you want. If you have older apps that were created using chromeos-apk tool then re-convert them or remove the "key" option from manifest.json.
