Polymeter
Polymeter MIDI sequencer
Polymeter is a MIDI sequencer for music that's in multiple prime meters (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, etc.) simultaneously. Each track has its own loop length, and when the lengths differ, the tracks "slip" (or shift phase) relative to each other. The resulting interference pattern is sufficiently intricate that variations similar to the embellishments of a live performer can be generated algorithmically. The current project is based on software I developed in the 1990s in order to compose polymeter-based electronic dance music. I'm rescuing from bit rot what might be (for all I know) the world's only sequencer optimized for polymeter. It's a long battle, but it's worth it to be able to compose complex polymeter again. -

A native Commodore 64 program that can play SID files from the High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC). It will run from any C64 friendly device. SID songs will be played back at correct speed on both PAL and NTSC computers. Synthclipse
GLSL shader prototyping tool based on Eclipse IDE.
Synthclipse is a GLSL shader prototyping tool. It makes possible to fast develop all kinds of shaders: Fragment (FS), Vertex (VS), Geometry (GS), Tessellation (TS) and Compute (CS). Shader development can be done using, compatible with Fragmentarium and Shadertoy (but limited to FS and VS), Fragx shaders or by using fully featured JavaScript JSX scripts. The JSX API is consistent with WebGL but in fact exposes complete OpenGL 4+ API. To install Synthclipse one can download prepacked Eclipse with Synthclipse feature (see "Files" section above) or update an existing Eclipse using the following Update Site: https://kamil-kolaczynski.github.io/synthclipse/update/ Prepacked version has one advantage: it has nice console logs coloring since it shipped with Grep Console plugin ( https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/grep-console ) that is configured specially for Synthclipse logs. -

This project aims to promote the ABC music notation language by providing cross-platform, open-source tools for manipulating, displaying and playing (via MIDI) ABC files. This project is here for historic reasons and there is not too much activity now. The abcmidi project is updated more frequently.

Audio Compressor (command line) - Utility to be used for audio (dynamic) compression of WAV files. The process works as a real-time 2-band feedback sidechain compressor having threshold and knee optimized to match the best as possible to the full scale range. The "feedback speed" (attack), the "recovery speed" (release) as well as the maximum gain limit can be adjusted by the user. This compressor was designed to give a "FM style" output, making it suitable to prepare music tracks for listening in noisy environments (vehicles) or to modulate a LPFM transmitter. -
