OOoLilyPond (OLy) is an Extension for OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. With OLy, you can include musical notation within text and presentation documents. The music expressions are entered as text codes and translated to images (png or eps) using LilyPond. The development has moved to GitHub (https://github.com/openlilylib/LO-ly). You will not find new releases here anymore.

What sets this frontend for ffmpeg apart from other stereo simulators is it creates an impression of stereo separation. Without trying too hard to be "true" stereo in a gimmicky fashion. More importantly, it produces none of the weird phasing, and/or time delay artifacts. And very little, if any of the tone discoloration, when those others aren't meticulously set up just right. All this is accomplished by using the ffmpeg crossover audio filter to split the sound into 8 frequency bands. The split points are based on center frequencies of a typical 1/3 octave equalizer. Those 8 bands are then panned in varying degrees to left and right. The varying width of each band is set to achieve the best balance between the left and right channels. Mind you: the goal was not to exactly replicate orchestral seating. It was to best alleviate that "tin can in a hole in the wall" mono sound.

mp3tomid chung is a realtime free polyphonic high quality mp3 audio to mid converter written in freebasic with fbsound. it converts mp3 files to polyphonic piano midi data sent to the choozen midi out port, connected for example to a midi recorder to produce midifiles , or to the onboard pc midi mapper for direct listening. works with Bill Evans's piano songs and Pat Metheny (others:to try). can run on a small netbook. can export to midifiles .

autopiano_chung is an automatic midi player version of midipiano_chung brainpiano2 virtual piano synthesizer . (freebasic /autopiano folder autopiano.bi + dlls) . autopiano_test is an example of use . it plays with a random algorythm the midifiles in the "/automidi" folder (for now max 200 files) . autopiano runs on another thread than the main program to minimize overhead , especially on multicore cpus . to change midipiano sounds settings run /autopiano/brainpiano2_chung.exe

dsp chung is an universal dsp sound effects program for your computer .Chooze the input sound port (for example the line in entry of an external usb sound card) then dsp effects (autovol/compressor , reverb, automodulation, decay, plugins,denoise) will be applied and sent to the selected output sound port (for example the system mixer) . The program is written in compiled freebasic , source code is included in the zip file . can be used as a single virtual active audio cable . gentext genmidi chung is a small text generation / midi piano music gen generator based on SORT dychotomic algorythm (inspired from ai neural networks RNN LSTM and Markov chains but not at all the same) .Trained with an input text file , it can generate random variants text / music stream in response to user input or freely (user enters empty input) or realtime non stop. Written in easy fast compiled freebasic. Generates midi music when load miditext txt files saved with brainpiano3 of midipiano_chung . m3uCopy is a frontend to copy audiotracks from m3u-playlist to any mountable device (mp3-player, hd). Tracks can be converted to other audio format and/or normalized. Optionaly creating a bash script for later use. The interface is developed with gambas.

CApieces is a compact win32 program for generating cellular automata music. It uses linear, binary CA with dependance on two previous timesteps (k=2, r=1.5) You can easily save/load any rule/state/tuning configuration you want to keep.

This program synthesises Polyphase Finite Impulse Response filters, suitable primarily for sample-rate conversion and phase-shifting applications.
