    Frontend Regression Validator (FRED)

    Frontend Regression Validator (FRED)

Visual regression tool used to compare baseline and updated instances

Visual regression tool used to compare baseline and updated instances of a website in a deployment pipeline. FRED is an opensource visual regression tool used to compare two instances of a website. FRED is responsible for automatic visual regression testing, with the purpose of ensuring that functionality is not broken by comparing a current(baseline) and an updated version of a website. The visual analysis computes the Normalized Mean Squared error and the Structural Similarity Index on the screenshots of the baseline and updated sites, while the visual AI looks at layout and content changes independently by applying image segmentation Machine Learning techniques to recognize high-level text and image visual structures. This reduces the impact of dynamic content yielding false positives. FRED is designed to be scalable. It has an internal queue and can process websites in parallel depending on the amount of RAM and CPUs (or GPUs) available.

    Fuzzer Test Suite

    Fuzzer Test Suite

Set of tests for fuzzing engines

The Fuzzer Test Suite is a collection of real-world, bug-rich targets used to evaluate and compare fuzzers under controlled conditions. Rather than synthetic micro-benchmarks, it packages build scripts, corpora, and known-crash oracles so fuzzer authors can measure time-to-crash, coverage growth, and stability. Each target is configured to integrate with common sanitizers, ensuring memory safety bugs surface with precise diagnostics. The suite standardizes experiment parameters—runtime, seeds, and environment—so results are reproducible and comparable across machines and research groups. It’s useful both for tuning mutation strategies and for validating new coverage mechanisms before publishing results. By curating diverse targets (parsers, media codecs, serialization libraries), it helps fuzzers demonstrate robustness beyond a single niche.

    Gatling Studio

    Gatling Studio

Desktop app that helps you craft Gatling load-testing simulations

Gatling Studio is a native desktop application created to simplify the creation of Gatling load-testing simulations from real browser traffic. Instead of hand-writing scenarios in Scala or Java from scratch, you use Gatling Studio to drive a Chromium-based browser through a typical user journey. The tool captures all HTTP and HTTPS requests and responses, saves them as a HAR file, and then automatically converts that data into a structured Gatling project with groups, pauses, and exec blocks. It includes logic to filter out noisy or irrelevant requests such as font files, analytics beacons, and static assets, so the generated scenario focuses on the core business interactions. The output is a ready-to-run Gatling project (Java/Maven) that can be executed locally or uploaded to Gatling Enterprise to run at scale. Gatling Studio targets performance engineers and QA teams who want a low-code path from “record what a user does in the browser” to “run a realistic load test.”

    GoConvey

    GoConvey

Go testing in the browser, integrates with `go test`

Welcome to GoConvey, a yummy Go testing tool for gophers. Works with go test. Use it in the terminal or browser according to your viewing pleasure. GoConvey supports Go's native testing package. Neither the web UI nor the DSL are required; you can use either one independently. Readable, colorized console output (understandable by any manager, IT or not). As long as GoConvey is running, test results will automatically update in your browser window. The design is responsive, so you can squish the browser real tight if you need to put it beside your code. The web UI supports traditional Go tests, so use it even if you're not using GoConvey tests. Since GoConvey integrates with go test, you can keep running tests in the terminal or use the auto-updating web UI for test results. Though writing tests with Convey() and So() is optional, it's more expressive than t.Errorf().

    Goss

    Goss

    Quick and Easy server testing/validation

For testing docker containers see the dgoss wrapper. Also, user submitted wrapper scripts for Kubernetes kgoss and Docker Compose dcgoss. Goss is a YAML-based serverspec alternative tool for validating a server’s configuration. It eases the process of writing tests by allowing the user to generate tests from the current system state. Once the test suite is written they can be executed, waited-on, or served as a health endpoint. An initial set of tests can be derived from the system state by using the add or auto add commands. A Json draft 7 schema available in docs/goss-json-schema.yaml makes it easier to edit simple goss.yaml files in IDEs, providing usual coding assistance such as inline documentation, completion and static analysis.

    Graphic Selenium Testing Tool

    Graphic Selenium Testing Tool

A graphical, cross-browser, easy and Selenium-based testing tool

Graphic Selenium Testing Tool (GSTT) is a software application to define, manage and execute web testing projects easily, visually and through the most popular web testing tool: Selenium. Each web testing project consists in many test cases. Each one represents a set of actions over a web page. For example, to search a product in a web online store or to fill and send a register form in a website. With GSTT users can define these actions on the web browser directly. This activity can also be done with Selenium IDE, but GSTT allows the user to define and execute actions not only in Mozilla Firefox, but also in Google Chrome. Every user can define test cases easily with GSTT. They don't need to know how GSTT or Selenium works. Once test cases are defined, users can execute them and GSTT will inform the user if the execution has been successful or not.
