Open Source Mac Software Testing Tools - Page 18

DAVInspector is a WebDAV debugging and test tool.

Please note the project has moved to GitHub, see http://benilovj.github.com/dbfit DbFit is a set of fixtures which enables FIT/FitNesse tests to execute directly against a database, enabling developers to manipulate database objects in a relational form, making database TDD much easier then with xUnit-style tools.

DB Sanity performs checks on a database for verifying data consistency and correctness of aplication deployments. It is invoked by command line and creates an HTML report with aggregated diagnostic summaries and listings of faulty database entries.

JDBC proxy driver to support the development and testing of database driven applications. In record mode, the driver records all data requested from the database layer in files. These files replace the database connection when switching to replay mode.

DBD2 inserts database records from TCP input. It is a companion project to Syslgod2 and an application in its own right. It ships with a backgrounding client for generic use. The client sends whatever information the user puts on the command-line to the back-end daemon via TCP. Upon successful transmission, the client exits. On failure, it backs off and retries until its life-time timer expires. The back-end daemon accepts data from Syslogd2 or its own client and inserts that data (and envelope information) into one or more databases using MySql client library or dbi drivers (also on SourceForge). The client needs no configuration (all input is via command-line). It is intended for hosts to make database entries without needing database client or interface code. Syslogd2 integration allows DBD2 to act as Syslogd2's database back-end for MySql and other databases supported by the dbi drivers. Original purpose was to track Linux cluster job status but other uses exist.

DBFeeder is a great tool to generate synthetic testdata for Oracle Databases and it is ideal for companies who wants to outsource development. Thanks to his original approach, data can be highly customizable and it even fits primary and foreign keys constraints of tables.

Database unit testing for .Net - MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle. Includes a database testing dll/API, an example project with C# templates to help get started, sql helper scripts and an application to export XML from a database. Features include - testing data outputs, sql objects definitions and security requirements. See http://dbtestunit.wordpress.com/ for more detail.

Eclipse Documentum DQL/API plug-in with the main functionality of content proposals and colour coding. As a secondary result testing things the plug-in is starting to resemble a fast hard client. A feature we lost when a certain hard client was replaced.

JUnit extension making test cases data driven. Uses external test data (in Excel, XML etc) which is injected into your test case using standard JavaBeans properties. Data enables and integrates toolkits such as jWebUnit and DbUnit. 100% JUnit compatible.

Local DNS server, that act as a proxy and will rewrite request according to a config file and an "active" environement. Usefull to switch easily between diffent configuration without touch the host file. small web server embeded to display current configuration, control active environment and reload configuraiton.

DOMinator Virtual Appliance is a Virtual Machine image file which can be used to see DOMinator in action. DOMinator is is a Firefox based software for analysis and identification of DOM Based Cross Site Scripting issues (DOMXss).

The DPA Toolset allows defining subsets of an XML Schema (profiles), definition of concrete profile documents, can monitor the exchange of those documents as SOAP web services, and emulate SOAP endpoints if needed. Cable-industry specific license.

The Distributed Real-time Embedded Analysis Method (DREAM) is a tool and method for the real-time verification and performance estimation of distributed real-time embedded (DRE) systems. Publications: http://www.ics.uci.edu/~gabe/publications.html.

DSL Runner is a framework that provides a easy way to create and run simple DSLs (Domain Specific Language) on Java Virtual Machine.

DSPemu emule a digital signal processor TMS320F243, with console interface showing the registers and memory. With DSPemu is possible test algorithms such as Filter, FFT/IFFT. This can be integrate and used with a circuit simulator.

With help of active trackbars you can change the values of RGB and HSV to threshold the live image feed from your camera!

DUnit is a framework of classes designed to support the Xtreme approach to software testing. This branch from the principal project, is for transform his visual interface to the new Firemonkey framework, know too as FMX. Current version is only for the old VCL framework. When project finish, it shall work for run unit test in Windows and Mac OS X. And of course for Android and IOS too. Did you need this approach? You can support us saying you like this project and leaving a message, please. You can get the current state of the project with the next URL repository: https://svn.code.sf.net/p/dunitfmx/code/trunk We are going to appreciate all the support!

Dage is an extensible library for filling database with a random data. Specifications are written in Scala language.

Fill your database with test data, move in and be happy. DataRoller is a small program that will insert rows into your database based on a file describing your tables and columns. Script files describe how each table relates to other tables, how DataRoller should geneate foreign keys, and how each column should look. DataRoller executes your script file, generating insert statements and filling your database with data.

DataTest is a test library for Java ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks. It provides tools for comprehensive testing of read and write operations involving ORM Data Access Objects (DAOs), and an API for simplifying data access test operations.

The concept behind DataWoo is to create a Spring-based architecture that allows developers to jump-start their coding efforts by providing a hardened and secure foundation when developing new systems; it can also be used as a reference for incorporating new technologies into existing systems. DataWoo is meant to be a research and development platform that can be extended into just about any enterprise-level web application. The architecture will be developed in three phases: 1. Basic Spring Architecture: Provides all the basic components needed to field an enterprise-level application. 2. Programmatic Security Model: Incorporates the components needed to dynamically assign users to user roles and user roles to profiles. 3. Meta-Driven Architecture: Use meta-data to dynamically configure 80%-90% of the application using the concepts exemplified in the Compiere open source project.

DB Initiator is a tool to quickly populate a database with nonsense data quickly and easily. This can aid in testing the scalability of your database driven website, or easily design the UI with plenty of data loaded.

For the testing of any application it need to populate the sample data into the tables used by the application. I have started this project to catter the basic need of populating test data. This utility examin the table and insert the data according to t

Dave's Unit Test (DUT) is a simple infrastructure for doing unit testing in c and c++. DUT can test boolean assertions, and test for the existence of expected c++ exceptions or POSIX signals. DUT also traps unexpected exceptions or signals.
