SAFS is a software test automation framework supporting data-driven (aka keyword-driven) functional test automation and associated services. The framework can run stand-alone on Windows, Linux, and Mac as well as integrate the use of IBM Rational Functional Tester, IBM Rational Robot, Smart Bear/AutomatedQA Test Complete, Apple XCode UIAutomation, Android SDK Automaton, Thoughtworks Selenium, and several other tools. Among other features, it provides advanced support of language localization testing (NLS) allowing the same tests to work for many different languages or test configurations. With various different tool configurations SAFS can be used to test Java, Web/Html, Flex, .Net, WPF, Win, iOS, and Android domains natively. And with advanced Image-Based Testing support built-in SAFS can be used to test virtually anything, anywhere.

SpaceMonkey is a Web application auditing tool. It can detect bugs or security flaws without using a knowledge database. It uses fault injection technics ('fuzzing') in order to reveal the flaws (SQL injection, XSS, File inclusion, command execution ).

TCPCopy is a TCP stream replay tool to support real testing of Internet server applications. Although the real live flow is important for the test of Internet server applications, it is hard to simulate it as online environments are too complex. To support more realistic testing of Internet server applications, we develop a live flow reproduction tool - TCPCopy, which could generate the test workload that is similar to the production workload. Currently, TCPCopy has been widely used by companies in China. TCPCopy has little influence on the production system except occupying additional CPU, memory and bandwidth. Moreover, the reproduced workload is similar to the production workload in request diversity, network latency and resource occupation. TCPCopy consists of two parts, TCPCopy and intercept. While TCPCopyruns on the online server and captures the online requests, intercept runs on the assistant server and does some assistant work, such as passing response info to TCPCopy.

The sandbox libraries (libsandbox & pysandbox) are an open-source suite of software components for C/C++ and Python developers to create automated profiling tools and watchdog programs. The API's are designed for executing and instrumenting simple (single process) tasks, featuring policy-based behavioral auditing, resource quota, and statistics collecting. The sandbox libraries were originally designed and utilized as the core security module of a full-fledged online judge system for ACM/ICPC training. They have since then evolved into a general-purpose tool for binary program testing, profiling, and security restriction. The sandbox libraries are currently maintained by the OpenJudge Alliance (http://openjudge.net/) as a standalone, open-source project to facilitate various assignment grading solutions for IT/CS education.
