    forever

    forever

CLI tool for ensuring that a given script runs continuously

A simple CLI tool for ensuring that a given script runs continuously (i.e. forever). Note that this project currently fully depends on the community for implementing fixes and new features. For new installations we encourage you to use pm2 or nodemon. If you are using forever programmatically you should install forever-monitor. There are two ways to use forever: through the command line or by using forever in your code. Note: If you are using forever programatically you should install forever-monitor. You can use forever to run scripts continuously (whether it is written in node.js or not). In addition to passing forever the path to a script (along with accompanying options, described above), you may also pass forever the path to a JSON file containing these options. The forever module exposes some useful methods to use in your code. Each method returns an instance of an EventEmitter which emits when complete.

    gcRadar

A library for monitoring the garbage collection of app objects

gcRadar is not a static code anayser but it is a library using which is ment to beused in your source code and it will monitor and report the lifetime events of yuor objects. gcRadar can provide this information by using callbacks, log4j & polling. gcRadar can monitor entities ranging from individula objects to full object trees comprising of is-a & has-a relationships. By using gcRadar you can monitor the lifetime of the objects that are created by your application in runtime, gcRadar enables the application to be aware of the memory constaraints that arise at runtime. The workings of the mythical Java Garbage Collector have for long eluded the common developer. Now by gcRadar enable you to record the life and death of objects at runtime.

    genericmock

    generic bits of useful code

generic mock is a project whose aim is to provide useful bits of code. Usually these parts are always rewritten each time a project starts. They are ready to be incorporated into larger projects without the need to link to a larger library. Everything is provided under BSD license so you don't need to worry about incorporating this into your commercial application. Bits of code: - redirecting standard streams (stdin, stdout, stderr) - getting access to a program's streams - run parallel tasks .... Visit the wiki for details: https://sourceforge.net/p/genericmock/wiki/Home/

Implement tests using nested Given, When, Then

Tests written with commented GIVEN, WHEN and THEN regions can be transformed by actually wrapping code within basic blocks called issues. This can occur in a nested fashion. Start with Test|TEST, that can wrap any issue. Given|GIVEN can wrap Given|GIVEN, When|WHEN; or Then|THEN issues. When|WHEN can wrap When|WHEN or Then|THEN issues. Then|THEN can only wrap Then|THEN issues. The Kotlin implementation supports 'suspend' functions: for any issue, there are two ("suspendable" and "nonsuspendable") kinds, that can be toggled between, while in the same foremost issue. Each issue can be labelled, and return values from corresponding code blocks can be referred to (or addressed, by nesting level), and searched using labels; wildcard matching is available too. Unlabelled given/then/when are not searchable, their return values are stored as the foremost issue's pending result. Supporting coroutines for unit or instrumented tests in Android is under development.

    gock

    gock

HTTP traffic mocking and testing made easy in Go

Versatile HTTP mocking made easy in Go that works with any net/http based stdlib implementation. Heavily inspired by nock. There is also its Python port, pook. Simple, expressive, fluent API. Semantic API DSL for declarative HTTP mock declarations. Built-in helpers for easy JSON/XML mocking. Supports persistent and volatile TTL-limited mocks. Full regular expressions capable HTTP request mock matching. Designed for both testing and runtime scenarios. Match request by method, URL params, headers and bodies. Extensible and pluggable HTTP matching rules. Ability to switch between mock and real networking modes. Ability to filter/map HTTP requests for accurate mock matching. Supports map and filters to handle mocks easily. Wide compatible HTTP interceptor using http.RoundTripper interface. Works with any net/http compatible client, such as gentleman. Network timeout/cancelation delay simulation. Extensible and hackable API. Dependency free.

    gofuzz

    gofuzz

    Fuzz testing for go

gofuzz is a lightweight fuzzing utility for Go that rapidly generates randomized, edge-case-heavy inputs to populate structs, maps, slices, and scalar fields. It’s engineered to make property tests productive by automatically traversing nested types and supplying varied values, including zero values, extremes, and random strings or byte sequences. Because it respects Go’s type system, it can generate valid shapes for complex generic or composite types with very little setup. Users can register custom functions to influence how certain fields are constructed, which is useful for domains with strict invariants. The library’s determinism controls allow reproducible failures while still offering diverse coverage across runs. Teams reach for gofuzz to smoke out serialization bugs, panics in equality or hashing, and brittle assumptions in business logic.

    gomock

    gomock

GoMock is a mocking framework for the Go programming language

gomock is a mocking framework for the Go programming language. It integrates well with Go's built-in testing package, but can be used in other contexts too. Once you have installed Go, install the mockgen tool. If you have not done so already be sure to add $GOPATH/bin to your PATH. If you use mockgen in your CI pipeline, it may be more appropriate to fixate on a specific mockgen version. Source mode generates mock interfaces from a source file. It is enabled by using the -source flag. Other flags that may be useful in this mode are -imports and -aux_files. Reflect mode generates mock interfaces by building a program that uses reflection to understand interfaces. It is enabled by passing two non-flag arguments, an import path, and a comma-separated list of symbols. The mockgen command is used to generate source code for a mock class given a Go source file containing interfaces to be mocked.

    gotests

    gotests

Automatically generate Go test boilerplate from your source code

gotests makes writing Go tests easy. It's a Golang command line tool that generates table-driven tests based on its target source files' function and method signatures. Any new dependencies in the test files are automatically imported. From the commandline, gotests can generate Go tests for specific source files or an entire directory. By default, it prints its output to stdout.

    govaluate

    govaluate

    Arbitrary expression evaluation for golang

Sometimes, you can't know ahead-of-time what an expression will look like, or you want those expressions to be configurable. Perhaps you've got a set of data running through your application, and you want to allow your users to specify some validations to run on it before committing it to a database. Or maybe you've written a monitoring framework which is capable of gathering a bunch of metrics, then evaluating a few expressions to see if any metrics should be alerted upon, but the conditions for alerting are different for each monitor. A lot of people wind up writing their own half-baked style of evaluation language that fits their needs but isn't complete. Or they wind up baking the expression into the actual executable, even if they know it's subject to change. These strategies may work, but they take time to implement, time for users to learn, and induce technical debt as requirements change.

    gremlins.js

    gremlins.js

Monkey testing library for web apps and Node.js

Gremlins.js is an open-source monkey testing library written in JavaScript. It unleashes a horde of undisciplined gremlins on a web app in order to check its robustness. We've modernized the code of Gremlins.js, our monkey testing library for frontend apps. It's now super easy to detect memory leaks in your JavaScript code. Gremlins.js comes with 5 types of undisciplined gremlins that will try to break your web application: the clicker, the form filler, the scroller, the typer and the toucher. You can also add custom gremlins easily. While gremlins try their best to destroy your app, another type of scripts called mogwais monitor the console errors and the number of frames by second to detect performance problems. Every action performed by the gremlins, and all the errors that might occur, are all logged! In version 2.0, we now use npm to publish the library and unpkg to serve it!
