CxxTest is a unit testing framework for C++ that is similar in spirit to JUnit, CppUnit, and xUnit. CxxTest is easy to use because it does not require precompiling a CxxTest testing library, it employs no advanced features of C++ (e.g. RTTI) and it supports a very flexible form of test discovery.

GoogleTest is Google's C++ mocking and test framework. It's used by many internal projects at Google, as well as a number of notable projects such as The Chromium projects, the OpenCV computer vision library, and the LLVM compiler. This GoogleTest project is actually a union of what used to be two separate projects: the old GoogleTest and GoogleMock, an extension of GoogleTest for writing and using C++ mock classes. Since they were so closely related, they were merged to create an even better GoogleTest. GoogleTest features an xUnit test framework, a rich set of assertions, user-defined assertions, death tests, among many others. It's been used on a variety of platforms, including Cygwin, Symbian, MinGW and PlatformIO.

The Chromium project focuses mainly on Google Chrome application development while CEF focuses on facilitating embedded browser use cases in third-party applications. Lots of applications use CEF control, there are more than 100 million CEF instances installed around the world. There are numerous use cases for CEF. Use it as a modern HTML5 based rendering engine that can act as a replacement for classic desktop GUI frameworks. Think of it as Electron for Python. Lepton image compression, saving 22% losslessly from images at 15MB/s. Lepton achieves a 22% savings reduction for existing JPEG images, by predicting coefficients in JPEG blocks and feeding those predictions as context into an arithmetic coder. Lepton preserves the original file bit-for-bit perfectly. It compresses JPEG files at a rate of 5 megabytes per second and decodes them back to the original bits at 15 megabytes per second, securely, deterministically, and in under 24 megabytes of memory. We have used Lepton to encode 16 billion images saved to Dropbox, and are rapidly recoding our older images. Lepton has already saved Dropbox multiple petabytes of space. At Dropbox, the security and durability of your data are our highest priorities. As an added security layer, Lepton runs within seccomp to disable all system calls except read and write of already-open file descriptors. Lepton has gone through a rigorous automated testing process.

Matrix is an APM (Application Performance Manage) used in Wechat to monitor, locate and analyse performance problems. It is a plugin style, non-invasive solution and is currently available on iOS, macOS and Android. The monitoring scope of the current tool includes: crash, lag, and out-of-memory, which includes the following two plugins, WCCrashBlockMonitorPlugin, which is based on KSCrash framework and features cutting-edge lag stack capture capabilities with crash capture, and WCMemoryStatPlugin, which is a performance-optimized out-of-memory monitoring tool that captures memory allocation and the callstack of an application's out-of-memory event. Determine whether the app is stuck by checking the running status of the Runloop, and support both the iOS and macOS platform. Add time-consuming stack fetching, attaching the most time-consuming main thread stack to the thread snapshot log.
