Fink brings the full world of Unix Open Source software to Darwin and macOS. Packages are downloaded and built automatically and installed into a tree managed by dpkg, all with full dependency tracking.

The LAMPAS project is a combination of common Open Source tools that provides a unified system from where administrators, developers and other parties can manage a large application cluster. The underlying platform is LAMP based.

RPM Package Manager (RPM) is a powerful package management system capable of installing, uninstalling, verifying, querying, and updating software packages. This is a port of the RPM software, including rpmbuild and yum/APT-RPM, to Darwin and Mac OS X

This project has a lively SVN repository for build recipes, over 1000 F/OSS softwares are available. The tool "pkgbuild" is for building packages on Solaris 11/OpenIndiana from RPM-like spec files. The tool also runs on OmniOS. If you want, you can create new style IPS packages and old style SVR4 packages for Solaris 10. The tool is not updated frequently, but the following "build recipes" for pkgbuild is updated every day. For a few hundred build-recipes see the sub-project "spec-files-extra" or "SFE". We already have stacks of e.g. multimedia players mplyer/vlc or postfix/dovecot/cyrus-sasl/spamfiltering. But there is so much more to be added! Volunteers to the build-recipes are always welcome. SystemImager is software that makes the installation of Linux to masses of similar machines relatively easy. It makes software distribution, configuration, and operating system updates easy, and can also be used for content distribution.

PerlCE provides pre-built perl binaries and some popular extensions for various WinCE platforms

This script can be used to copy files (usually binary distributions of programs) to a remote server while preserving all the old versions of these distributions. It can also create and change symbolic links that point to certain distributions.

Mrtools (Multi remote tools) are a set of multi-threaded system tools to manage large distributed environments including file distribution collection and concurrent shell script or command execution. MrTools is written in Perl and utilizes ssh and rsync.

Orange JeOS ("juice") is a small and secure Linux distribution, based on CentOS and designed for use by hardware, software and virtual appliance builders. OJ-Builder Tools are used to build an Orange JeOS ISO entirely from public CentOS repository. ATC is a system for configuring and controlling the pre and post building of Unix machines over the network. Predominately it uses JET to deploy Solaris hosts and Kickstart to deploy Linux hosts. Post build ATC is used to do configuration control.
