The LAMPAS project is a combination of common Open Source tools that provides a unified system from where administrators, developers and other parties can manage a large application cluster. The underlying platform is LAMP based.

This project has a lively SVN repository for build recipes, over 1000 F/OSS softwares are available. The tool "pkgbuild" is for building packages on Solaris 11/OpenIndiana from RPM-like spec files. The tool also runs on OmniOS. If you want, you can create new style IPS packages and old style SVR4 packages for Solaris 10. The tool is not updated frequently, but the following "build recipes" for pkgbuild is updated every day. For a few hundred build-recipes see the sub-project "spec-files-extra" or "SFE". ATC is a system for configuring and controlling the pre and post building of Unix machines over the network. Predominately it uses JET to deploy Solaris hosts and Kickstart to deploy Linux hosts. Post build ATC is used to do configuration control.

AVD is a continuation of the swim project. The goal is to create a suitable SQL server from swim's not-installed DB, and to maintain the swim client. AVD will be used as a gBootRoot method.
