    Rudix

    Rudix

    Build system target on macOS

Rudix is a build system target on macOS (formerly known as Mac OS X) with minor support to OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD and Linux. The build system (also called "ports") provides step-by-step instructions for building third-party software, entirely from source code. Rudix provides more than a pure ports framework, it comes with packages, precompiled software bundled up in a nice format (files *.pkg) for easy installation on your Mac.

    S-BITE

S-BITE is an AS level topology generator for the Internet

The Structure-Based Internet Topology gEnerator (S-BITE) is an Autonomous System (AS) level topology generator for the Internet. The generator exploits a technique that partitions the network topology into two distinct blocks: the Core, which captures the underlying community structure of the Internet, and the Periphery, representing the “tendrils” of the topology. Thanks to this layering, S-BITE is able to accurately reproduce Internet topology at the statistical level, matching classical graph metrics, and represent its structure. S-BITE is mostly implemented in C and depends on the igraph library available at http://igraph.sourceforge.net In order to speed up the execution of the different components, the package uses shell scripts.

    SAM
SAM is a command line tool (for Slackware Linux) which uses a stack to provide control of variables, including PATH, and functions. To do this it uses a set of scripts, functions and compiled code. The result is a command line environment that changes the way you see and thus changes the way you think. It has helped me to write more and better shell code. Perhaps it will help you also.

    Service Component Architecture Diagram Generator

Large BPEL or SOA applications may have many components and relationships that can be difficult to understand. This project generates diagrams for applications based on the Service Component Architecture (SCA) model. This has primarily been tested with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g applications but should work with other BPEL or SOA frameworks.

The scbind software is a shell script "compiler" -- it does not actually compile scripts to machine code, but encodes them into executable images. The shell still runs the actual code. Prevents modifications/prying. Handles perl, awk, etc. also.

    Schism

    Schism

A self-hosting Scheme to WebAssembly compiler

Schism is an experimental compiler that translates Scheme programs into WebAssembly, allowing Scheme code to execute in both browser environments and server platforms like Node.js. Developed initially by Google researchers, the project was designed to explore the intersection of functional programming and WebAssembly’s low-level efficiency. Schism supports a subset of the R6RS Scheme standard and is self-hosting, meaning that the compiler itself is written in and compiled by Schism. Its architecture demonstrates advanced compiler design techniques such as staged compilation and snapshot-based bootstrapping. The project focuses on leveraging WebAssembly’s experimental capabilities, including reference types and tail calls, to test the limits of language portability and runtime performance. Though no longer actively maintained, Schism remains a valuable example of how high-level languages can be mapped to WebAssembly and offers insights into language implementation.

    Self-Hosted Sentry nightly

    Self-Hosted Sentry nightly

Sentry, feature-complete and packaged up for low-volume deployments

In addition to making its source code available publicly, Sentry offers and maintains a minimal setup that works out-of-the-box for simple use cases. This repository also serves as a blueprint for how various Sentry services connect for a complete setup, which is useful for folks willing to maintain larger installations. For the sake of simplicity, we have chosen to use Docker and Docker Compose for this, along with a bash-based install and upgrade script. Environment specific configurations can be done in the .env.custom file. It will be located in the root directory of the Sentry installation. By default, there exists no .env.custom file. In this case, you can manually add this file by copying the .env file to a new .env.custom file and adjust your settings in the .env.custom file. Please keep in mind to check the .env file for changes, when you perform an upgrade of Sentry, so that you can adjust your .env.custom accordingly, if required.

    Shell-Tools

Some shell files to use as libraries, mostly for noobs

This project will contains some shell scripts to use as libraries in other scripts. Most of the functions provided are shortcuts with names understandable by non informatician (at least not hard core coder). I realized that I also prefer self explaining names for usual coreutils program combinaison. Scripts will have strict coding standards (at least I'll try), and they will be based on a template.
