This project has a lively SVN repository for build recipes, over 1000 F/OSS softwares are available. The tool "pkgbuild" is for building packages on Solaris 11/OpenIndiana from RPM-like spec files. The tool also runs on OmniOS. If you want, you can create new style IPS packages and old style SVR4 packages for Solaris 10. The tool is not updated frequently, but the following "build recipes" for pkgbuild is updated every day. For a few hundred build-recipes see the sub-project "spec-files-extra" or "SFE". We already have stacks of e.g. multimedia players mplyer/vlc or postfix/dovecot/cyrus-sasl/spamfiltering. ...

    POSIX Threads for Windows

An implementation of the POSIX threads API for Windows

...Please note:- whilst PThreads4W can be built and run by it, MinGW64 includes it's own default POSIX Threads library called "winpthreads". The two are not compatible and in order to build and run PThreads4W (formerly PThreads-WIn32) MinGW64 must be installed without win32pthreads. If you want or need to build and run with PThreads4W then you need to choose win32 threading instead of POSIX when you install MinGW64 to not install the conflicting winpthreads include and library files.

    EDITEL

EDITEL is a screen editor/code generator for GnuCOBOL programmers

One of the hardest things to do when coding with COBOL is translating a screen design into code. The process may take hours, not to say days. In my old BLIS-COBOL, COBOL 74 and COBOL 80 /85 days (and those last 2 had the SCREEN SECTION which helped a lot !), I recall spending a significant amount of time dedicated to that activity. Time that could be used for more productive activities like coding and resolving bugs, for instance. Having said that, I developed a Screen Editor (similar to a...

    Yabadabbadoo for Haiku

    Yabadabbadoo for Haiku

An alternative IDE for the yab programming language

...Yabadabbadoo differs from the official yab IDE in that it creates subroutines (and some other important parts of your program) as separate files, then glues them together as required. This makes it easier to write long programs: instead of constantly scrolling up and down between subroutines, you just double-click on the one you want to edit - more like we used to work in QuickBasic. Debugging, on the other hand, becomes a little more tricky than in the official IDE. Yabadabbadoo suggests that you reserve workspace 4 for its own use and for best results demands a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 on that workspace. Source code is included. In Yabadabbadoo format, of course.

    DiffReport

    DiffReport

    Code Difference report

Often I have seen some Huge Maintenance Projects it is always very difficult to track the incremental files for each release and If we want to do that we need to checkout both the branches and use some UI based tool to get the diff of the files finally we end up waiting in front of the PC for a long time and do this job. In many cases we spend more than 2 hrs/day. The time increases if there are more such parallel releases and at the end of the day 1 developer does it as full time job and has zero productivity. ...
