Zgoubi is a raytracing code. Since 1972 it pushes charged particles through accelerators and beam lines, by stepwise solution of Lorentz force equation - and their spins via Thomas-BMT differential equation. Zgoubi simulates beam dynamics and polarization in a variety of accelerators (storage ring, synchrotron, cyclotron, betatron, microtron, FFAG, multi-pass ERL, etc) and optical systems (beam lines, magnetic and electrostatic optical components, time-of-flight and mass spectrometers, etc). ...

    DIANNA

    software for DFA method

DIANNA (Diffraction Analysis of Nanopowders) is a free software developed to simulate atomic models of structures from an ensemble of nanoparticles and to calculate their whole X-ray powder diffraction patterns and the radial distribution function. The main objects of investigation are the particles whose coherent scattering domains do not exceed several nm. DIANNA is based on the ab initio method using the Debye scattering equation. This method makes it possible to obtain information on the atomic structure, shape and size of nanoparticles. It can be applied also to non-periodic materials or coherently ordered structures. ...

    particlevis

    A particle simulation visualization program

...It contains a set of features that enables powerful and useful visualizations of particle simulations to be quickly generated. Support is provided for visualization of hundreds of thousands of particles on commodity workstations, using OpenGL. Functionality includes data exploration, debugging of simulation output, and generation of presentation-quality imagery. The ability to visualize vector flow information in a variety of forms, such as arrow-lines, inscribed glyphs, and motion blurred particles, is particularly useful in the study of granular flows. ...

    g4schiff

    geant4 simulation of Schiff spectra

This is GEANT4 simulation of such process: electrons with energy ~45MeV hits the 1.0mm thick plate made of Tl, newly generated gamma along with electrons quants going thru Al 10cm thick material and then they hit 1mm thick Indium-made target, if it's enabled. The result of simulation is a spectra of deposited in target energy (if enabled). By default the Indium target is disabled. The particles are being registered by 2 phantom-detectors called "void0_DetectorSD" and void_DetectorSD". Those detectors does not interact with particle, they does not slow down the particles or proccess the hits inside detector's body[because made of almost vacuum], they only record particle's kinetic energy and then dump it to the output files.

    XCTruck3D _Truck

    XCTruck3D _Truck

realistic truck simulator with 3D graphics done from zero

A truck/car simulator, with realistic physics and oldstyle graphics: it displays pixels through the SDL graphics routines, or the X11 if using that version (has some issues:so use the SDL ver). While the 3D graphics is done by the program itself without external libraries. The environment is a hilly terrain:total freedom to drive around.A remake of the classic "Terep 2". Written in the C programming language: although the code is 30 pages long, it's simple. Trailer can be detouched pressming...

    CTruck3D _Open

realistic truck & car simulator, with OpenGL graphics

update: https://sourceforge.net/projects/newctruck3drally/ It's a 3D, physically realistic truck/car simulator, oriented to dirt tracks. This is subsancially kept as hystorical. The environment is a hilly terrain which can also be user-defined in the form of a Bitmap image file (where intensity of red component defines height). It's similar to the classic "Terep 2". Particular care for internal cam. Written in standard C. There's a Windows executable ready for use, but it's compilable...

    Bugale N-Body Simulator

    Bugale N-Body Simulator

    A simple N-Body simulator.

...Given N point masses in a three-dimensional space, its present positions and velocities, and supposing that the force of attraction experienced between each pair of particles is Newtonian, the project approximately predicts it's positions and velocities at a future moment of time. The project can visualize the simulation, and create a graphic real-time output using FreeGLUT, and also have an option for textual output and archiving. Bugale N-Body Data Editor provides a graphic user interface for creating and editing the settings and body data files of Bugale N-Body Simulator. ...

    2DSPH-Simulator

    2DSPH-Simulator

    Smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulator

...Now it can be used only 1 bar and 1 piston, for future it will be changed. Video of textcase: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLYVSWkhXBI Software is tested and runs stable with up two 5000 SPH particles. Known Problems: If there are more than 15000-20000 SPH particles, after some simulationssteps the calculation slows down and gains all memory. Currently I have no idea why!
