    Kindling

    Kindling

    eBPF-based Cloud Native Monitoring Tool

Kindling is an eBPF-based cloud-native monitoring tool, which aims to help users understand the app behavior from kernel to code stack. Besides trace profiling, Kindling provides an easy way to get an overview of network flows in the Kubernetes environment and many built-in network monitor dashboards like TCP retransmit, DNS, throughput, and TPS. Not only as a network monitor, but Kindling is also trying to analyze one detail RPC call and get the following information, which can be found in network Explore in Chrome. The usage is the same as network exploration in Chrome, with which users can tell which part to dig into to find the root cause of the problem in the production environment.

    django-health-check

    django-health-check

a pluggable app that runs a full check on the deployment

The primary intended use case is to monitor conditions via HTTP(S), with responses available in HTML and JSON formats. When you get back a response that includes one or more problems, you can then decide the appropriate course of action, which could include generating notifications and/or automating the replacement of a failing node with a new one. If you are monitoring health in a high-availability environment with a load balancer that returns responses from multiple nodes, please note that certain checks (e.g., disk and memory usage) will return responses specific to the node selected by the load balancer.

    Amentet Monitoring Service

    Amentet Monitoring Service

    CORBA Server Monitoring service

The Amenetet Monitoring Service monitors remote services which register with it, heart beats are used in both directions to monitor the health of remote services. Remote services maintain a lease with Amentet and renew that lease regularly. Amentet then pings back to the remote service to monitor its health. Remote Services can monitor multiple objects internally, when "pinged" by Amentet, if any of these objects has disappeared an exception is thrown back with the list of missing objects. Amentet will store events in a local Db which can be viewed using the Web interface and as events occur alerts will be raised which can be sent to SNMP Trap daemon and/or SMTP and/or SMS. The service uses Spring Security Framework for access control and can be configured to use any Authentication Authorization system supported by the Spring Security Framework.
