    WAFW00F

    WAFW00F

WAFW00F allows one to identify and fingerprint Web App Firewall

The Web Application Firewall Fingerprinting Tool. Sends a normal HTTP request and analyses the response; this identifies a number of WAF solutions. If that is not successful, it sends a number of (potentially malicious) HTTP requests and uses simple logic to deduce which WAF it is. If that is also not successful, it analyses the responses previously returned and uses another simple algorithm to guess if a WAF or security solution is actively responding to our attacks. ...

    Python Outlier Detection

    Python Outlier Detection

A Python toolbox for scalable outlier detection

PyOD is a comprehensive and scalable Python toolkit for detecting outlying objects in multivariate data. This exciting yet challenging field is commonly referred as outlier detection or anomaly detection. PyOD includes more than 30 detection algorithms, from classical LOF (SIGMOD 2000) to the latest COPOD (ICDM 2020) and SUOD (MLSys 2021). Since 2017, PyOD [AZNL19] has been successfully used in numerous academic researches and commercial products [AZHC+21, AZNHL19]. PyOD has multiple neural...

    Nano ID

    Nano ID

A secure, URL-friendly, unique string ID generator for JavaScript

...Uniformity, random % alphabet is a popular mistake to make when coding an ID generator. The distribution will not be even; there will be a lower chance for some symbols to appear compared to others. So, it will reduce the number of tries when brute-forcing. Nano ID uses a better algorithm and is tested for uniformity.

    Eristic Cryptographic Toolkit

    Eristic Cryptographic Toolkit

Open source 8 bit random number generator

Human generated, No AI code or concept. Eris version 7 pseudo random number generator and hashing function. Passes Dieharder tests. 8 Bit Algorithm. Earlier versions of Eris and Discordia (ver. 1-3) were my attempt at crypto software and should NOT be used for anything that needs true security. Version 7 has been reduced to a simple non secure random number generator and hashing function. If you need high quality random numbers or a 512 bit hash with a small code footprint in an 8 bit environment, Eris 7 may be a good choice, at least the AI's say so.

Prediction of proteinfolding in 2D HP model

Even in the simplified two dimensional HP-model (hydrophob/polar) the prediction of proteinfolding is NP complete. We implement a brute force algorithm with serial and parallel execution to solve short inputs of HP sequences (0-1 bitstrings). ...

    file digest

A command-line utility for calculating and verifying file checksums.

Digest is a command-line utility which can be used to calculate and verify checksums of any files, similar to md5sum or RHash, but using modern hash algorithms. Supported algorithms: BLAKE, BLAKE2, Grøstl, JH, Kupyna, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3, Skein, SM3, Streebog, Whirlpool. Usage: digest [-c] <algorithm> <filename(s)> For example, if you want to calculate the checksums using skein512/256 algorithm, use this command: digest skein512/256 * > checksums.skein To verify the checksums: digest -c skein512/256 checksums.skein You can get a full list of supported algorithms and test the performance of different algorithms on your PC using the command: digest test <iterations> <filename> This will calculate hash sum of <filename> multiple times (number of times is specified by <iterations>) and output the results with precise timings. ...

    FactHash

    Factorial Hashing Function

My first attempt at a one-way hashing class/algoritm, built as a python class. It produces variable length hash from a message block of the size you want. The resulting hash will be ~2x the message block in size, and should provide for at least as many bits of security as the block itself. I updated this, with a different hash than original, since I found a potential collision on some blocks, not but specific to that challenge. To further correct this, I modified the padding when it's...
