Encrypt
Allows you to encrypt files and plain text, then back again.
Encrypt is a small application which allows you to encrypt your files and even write plain text to be encrypted in GZIP code so it effectively cannot be read by humans. Your note passing, personal diary and more is safe. As well as that, it can decode your GZIP messages back into plain text so it can be read again. It is written entirely in Java, and is very easy to use. For more information on this application, please refer to my YouTube tutorial or send me an email at romejanic@gmail.com. ...To decrypt the file, you have to share the encrypted file to the application and enter the passphrase. Obviously the passphrase for encryption and decryption should be the same. Note that the file shredding is disabled by default. That means the original file won't be deleted even if you encrypt it. To enable file shredding, go to Settings-> Enable Shredding. Note: I haven't even looked at this project for years. I was a pretty bad programmer back then, so the code is sloppy. The next version will be better. Similar to a stream cipher, but rather than performing an exclusive OR on the input bytes and cipher, it performs a mixture of 'rolling' (see x86 instruction ROR) and bit NOT operations according to the key.
