kallisto is a program for near-optimal quantification of transcript abundances from RNA-Seq data, or more generally of target sequences using high-throughput sequencing reads. It is based on the idea of using pseudoalignment to quickly determine reads and targets’ compatibility, with no need for alignment. According to benchmarks done on a Mac desktop computer, kallisto can quantify 30 million human bulk RNA-seq reads in less than 3 minutes with just the read sequences and a transcriptome index, that in itself can take more than 10 minutes to build. ... -

The idea is about to use the DSO for get measure (without PC control) and then easily and fastly transfer data to PC (USB) for documentation of a project. You can show data and parameters about measures save them in CSV files or (in future) bitmap, pdf, ps. I don't wish to control the DSO but read, manipulate and save data. ...To infer the structure of community-level metabolic interactions, BiomeNet applies a mixed-membership modelling framework to enzyme abundance information. The basic idea is that the mixture components of the model (metabolic reactions, subnetworks, and networks) are shared across all groups (microbiome samples), but the mixture proportions vary from group to group. Through this framework, the model can capture nested structures within the data. BiomeNet is unique in modeling each metagenome sample as a mixture of complex metabolic systems (metabosystems). -

FFIS or Fast Fuzzy Inference System is a portable and optimized implementation of Fuzzy Inference Systems. It supports both Mamdani and Takagi-Sugeno methods. The main idea behind this tool, is to provide case-special techniques rather than general solutions to resolve complicated mathematical calculations. This will lead to have more efficient defuzzification algorithms for Mamdani's model. Most systems in Mamdani's model can be defuzzified in O(n²) or even O(n) time which n is number of membership functions in output.
