PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

Universal Random Number Service for Agent-Based Models

The purpose of URaNuS (Universal Random Number Service) is to provide a common library for Agent-based models that allows modelers to define different random streams and/or generators for different model parts in order to investigate the influence of distinct model parts to stochasticity. It is also useful to manage random numbers in the interplay of multiple libraries.

Framework for Agent-oriented MOdelling and Simulation

...It uses the discrete-event simulation framework Desmo-J (http://desmoj.sourceforge.net) as its simulation engine. Famos implements event-driven time advance and focusses on supporting an explicit model of space for the environment, including the movement of agents. Famos was developed in the context of a PhD project. Many aspects of its implementation are therefore still in the prototype stage. It does come with two example models (a re-implementation of Schelling's segregation model and of Epstein and Axtell's Sugarscape model). ...

    JBernstein

    JBernstein

JBernstein: Exploration techniques for non-linear constraint checking

JBernstein is a tool implemented in Java that enables to check whether a polynomial constraint holds for all variables within their domain. It is mainly used in the verification or synthesis of cyber-physical systems where the system model is nonlinear. The tool also supports specifications in assume-guarantee style. The underlying algorithm is based on a translation to Bernstein polynomials, and several optimization techniques are implemented to ensure efficiency. Concerning performance, the tool enables to check all examples in the PVS Bernstein testsuite within a second, which can be an order of magnitude faster than some other tools such as QEPCAD or REDLOG. ...

    OPTIMA cidoc-crm Semantic Annotation

Semantic annotation of archaeology reports with respect to CIDOC-CRM

...OPTIMA performs the NLP tasks of Named Entity Recognition, Relation Extraction, Negation Detection and Word Sense Disambiguation using hand-crafted rules and SKOS terminological resources (English Heritage Thesauri and Glossaries). The resulted semantic annotations are associated with classes of the (ISO 21127:2006) CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CRM) and its archaeological extension, CRM-EH. OPTIMA is also targeted at the detection and recognition of contextual relations between CRM entities. Such relations are modeled with respect to the CRM-EH archaeology extension. The pipeline targets the CIDOC-CRM entities; E19.Physical_Object, E53.Place, E49.Time_Appellation and E57.Material and the CRM-EH entities; EHE1001.Context_Event, EHE1002.Production_Event, EHE1004.Deposition_Event and P45.consists_of material property

    LARA

    LARA

Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents

For the purpose of policy simulation in coupled social-ecological systems (e.g. energy supply), a credible modelling of actors – especially citizens – and their decision processes is needed. This requires a framework capable of handling high numbers of heterogeneous agents (several hundreds of thousands). LARA (Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents) meets these requirements and fills the gap between frameworks without built-in psychological foundations and full-fledged...

    SimCampus. Social Simulation

Recommendation system of extracurricular activities for students

...It is simulated a recommendation system of extracurricular activities for students of a university campus considering their free time (time between classes) and preferences (interest, hobbies). It is presented a model of the UCAM university campus but the tool can be extrapolated to any other university campus because it is fully configurable. The developed tool can also optimize the number of elements necessary for recommendation system and the total number of students who may be informed until the system reaches its saturation level.

    SMLEditor

Prototype editor for the SDEM Mapping Language

The Gateways Team of the Live-Virtual-Constructive Architecture Roadmap Implementation (LVCAR-I) effort is developing a set of tools that will support the gateway community. One of these tools is the Simulation Data Exchange Model (SDEM) Mapping Language (SML) Editor. The tool provides the ability to import two SDEMs in their native language and subsequently view the entities that need to be mapped between the two SDEMs. The SDEM Editor also allows the user to create these mappings and store the result in an SML file.

Based on HL7 v.2.3.1 Orders & Results Reference Information Model (RIM)s, The project is NOT a CPOE per-se. Instead, the project provides "applications" that allow EHR's to perform Outpatient Orders and Results via HIE, and collect these into their EHRs to feed the EHR "CPOE module / section" (ex. with prescribed drugs, ordered labs and results, ....) The first module in the project was the "ePrescribing application"; certified by RxHub and SureScripts back in 2007.
