    Fosite - advection problem solver

numerical simulation code for solving transport equations in 1D/2D/3D

Fosite is a generic framework for the numerical solution of hyperbolic conservation laws in generalized orthogonal coordinates. Its main purpose is the simulation of compressible flows in accretion disks. The underlying numerical solution method belongs to the family of unsplit conservative finite volume TVD schemes. The method is 2nd order accurate in space and uses high order Runge-Kutta and multistep schemes for time evolution. In addition to the pure advection code several source terms...

    Xoptfoil

    Airfoil optimization with Xfoil

Airfoil optimization using the highly-regarded Xfoil engine for aerodynamic calculations. Starting with a seed airfoil, Xoptfoil uses particle swarm, genetic algorithm and direct search methodologies to perturb the geometry and maximize performance. The user selects a number of operating points over which to optimize, desired constraints, and the optimizer does the rest.

Abaqus implementation (through UEL subroutine) of the incremental energy/dissipation based arc-length method. Suitable for physically non-linear, geometrically linear solid mechanics problems solved through an implicit solution algorithm. The zip file includes a read-me pdf giving information about how to use the files. The details are presented in the following paper : Author : İ. Özdemir 'An alternative implementation of the incremental energy/dissipation based arc-length control method', Theoretical and Applied Fracture Mechanics, Vol. 100, April 2019, 208-2014

    PSICOV

The unofficial binary for PSICOV: Protein Sparse Inverse COVariance

PSICOV (Protein Sparse Inverse Covariance estimation program) is a coevoultion algorithm applied to very large (typically >=1000 sequences) multiple sequence alignments for precise protein structural contact prediction. This is the unofficial precompiled Windows binary for PSICOV compiled by Chengxin Zhang at Fudan University. The source code is copyrighted by David T. Jones, University College London.

    GADfit

Global nonlinear optimization with automatic differentiation

NOTE: Development continued at GitHub! Current version is higher than 1.2.0. GADfit is a Fortran implementation of global nonlinear curve fitting, based on a modified Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. Global fitting refers to fitting many datasets simultaneously with some parameters shared among the datasets. The fitting procedure is very fast and accurate thanks to the use of automatic differentiation. The model curves (fitting functions) can be of essentially arbitrary complexity. This includes any nonlinear combination of elementary and special functions, single and/or double integrals, and any control flow statement allowed by the programming language. ...
