    OrcaSlicer

    OrcaSlicer

    G-code generator for 3D printers

OrcaSlicer is an open-source slicing application for FFF and FDM 3D printers, built as a community-driven evolution of Bambu Studio. It focuses on precision, calibration, speed, and broader printer compatibility for users who want more control over their prints. The software includes tools for slicing models, generating supports, tuning print parameters, and preparing high-quality G-code. It is popular among users who want advanced calibration workflows and flexible settings beyond basic slicer defaults. ...

    Bambu Studio

    Bambu Studio

PC Software for BambuLab and other 3D printers

Bambu Studio is a feature-rich slicing application designed to provide a smooth, project-based 3D printing workflow. It is built on PrusaSlicer and Slic3r foundations while adding Bambu Lab’s own interface, optimized slicing behavior, and printer-focused tools. The software is especially suited for Bambu Lab printers, but its open-source base also makes it relevant to the broader 3D printing community. It helps users prepare models, manage projects, adjust slicing settings, preview toolpaths, and send print-ready files to compatible machines. ...

    ESP3D

    ESP3D

FW for ESP8266/ESP8285/ESP32 used with 3D printer

This firmware allows not only to have a cheap bridge between Wifi and serial, but also to have a web UI to configure wifi, to monitor 3D printer and even control it, and to make things easy, UI is fully customizable without reflashing FW. Firmware should work with any 3D printer firmware (repetier/marlin/smoothie ware using GCODE) if the serial connection has a correct setup. I currently use it with my personal flavor of repetier for Due based boards. The web interface files are present in the data directory but UI has its own repository ESP3D-WEBUI. ...

    PrusaSlicer

    PrusaSlicer

G-code generator for 3D printers (RepRap, Makerbot, Ultimaker etc.)

PrusaSlicer is an open-source slicing application that converts 3D models into printable instructions for 3D printers. It supports common model formats such as STL, OBJ, and AMF, then prepares them as G-code for FFF printers or image layers for resin-based mSLA printing. The software is based on Slic3r and has been expanded by Prusa Research with a strong focus on usability, print quality, and advanced configuration. It works with Prusa printers but is also compatible with many modern...

    Marlin

    Marlin

Optimized firmware for RepRap 3D printers based on Arduino platform

Marlin is a popular open source firmware for the RepRap family of 3D printers. It is straightforward, reliable, extensible and adaptable, which is why it is used by many respected commercial 3D printer vendors as well as hobbyists. It runs on inexpensive 8-bit Atmel AVR micro-controllers, with added support for 32-bit and ARM-based boards. Marlin builds can be small enough for use on a headless printer with only modest hardware, and features can be enabled as-needed.

    Surface Explorer 3D v3.2

    Surface Explorer 3D v3.2

Surface Explorer 3D plots mathematical surfaces in 3D.

Surface Explorer 3D plots mathematical surfaces in 3D. User defined surface equations can be explicit, implicit, or parametric. Surface and color equations are specified by user. The user can export to the clipboard, or file formats including VRML, POV, DXF, STL, and output to a printer. The STL format can be used to do 3D printing to create a physical object.

    Relativty

    Relativty

An open source VR headset with SteamVR supports for $200

Relativty is not a consumer product. We made Relativty in my bedroom with a soldering iron and a 3D printer and we expect you to do the same, build it yourself. We started Relativty because after watching Sword Art Online we wanted to make our own VR games. Thus Relativty supports SteamVR games and can be modified to add support for any DIY or off-the-shelf VR device. The room-scaling AI can be used with any camera, it tracks your body based on video input.
