    MIT SPHERES Simulation (Release)

    MIT SPHERES Simulation (Release)

MIT's spacecraft simulator for control algorithm development

...Algorithms may be implemented in C or Embedded MATLAB and executed in the MATLAB simulation environment to verify general desired behavior. With some limitations, the code used in the simulation can be directly transferred to the SPHERES hardware. We are sharing this project with the public to gather more interest for SPHERES Guest Scientists. Feel free to use and contribute to this code base, just don't forget to credit the MIT Space Systems Lab if you distribute any results.

    Matlab wind turbine model

Generic Matlab model of a wind turbine drive train.

This is a project to create a simple, open-source, simulation of a turbine suitable for use in wind or tidal streams in plain Octave/Matlab code. It will be designed to be suitable for integration with, and the testing of, some existing power take-off models. The drive train of the turbine will be modeled, with the scope of the model being the conversion of a given wind velocity to a torque at the input of a power take-off unit.

    MCL

A C++ library mirroring some of the most common Matlab functions.

MCL is a C++ library that implements many of Matlab's functions. The library is written so as to minimise the time needed to port Matlab code to C++. The main point of departure between the two is that c++ requires the definition of the types you are using. In MCL we have three types: Real, Int, Complex. Furthermore, vectors start from 0 instead of 1. The library has been written following Google's C++ style guide: http://google-styleguide.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/cppguide.xml

    nwhess2freq

Calculates frequencies/modes from an nwchem generated hessian

This is a simple Octave script which calculates the frequencies/normal modes from an nwchem generated hessian matrix. The advantage of having a separate script for this is that you can use the same hessian to calculate frequencies for different isotopic substitutions i.e. you only have to run one nwchem calculation. The script is finished in its current form in the sense that it is feature complete. Feel free to amend, translate, copy, steal etc. See the README in the code repository...

    GPUmat

GPUmat is a C/C++ GPU engine for Matlab based on NVIDIA CUDA.

Please download Windows and Linux version by clicking on "Browse All Files". GPUmat allows standard MATLAB code to run on GPUs. The engine is written in C/C++ and based on NVIDIA CUDA. Please contact gpyougroup@gmail.com for any questions. Unfortunately GPUmat was compiled for CUDA 5.0 and we basically stopped any support for other CUDA version because we don't have the resources to do it. But you can compile the source code if you want.

    easyNRG

A simple MATLAB implementation of Wilsons NRG-method

At the moment this code can calculate free electron gas and the SIAM (single-impurity-anderson-model) In this version, the only thing computed by the code is the energy flow. There is no calculation for any thermodynamic quantaties. The implementation is very slow and rather for educational purposes to get an idea of the NRG-method. For example: it is not considered, that only matrix elements between states, whos occupation number differs by one and S_z differs by 1/2. There is only...

    LS-PIV Supplemental Material

Line-scanning particle image velocimetry for analyzing blood flow data

Line-scanning particle image velocimetry (LS-PIV) is an analytical method to quantify blood velocity data generated by many confocal and two-photon excited fluorescence microscopes. We hope that this method will be of use to the research community! The associated files include Matlab code for LS-PIV and example data-sets of measured blood flow in the cerebral cortex of mouse. For additional information, please see the manuscript "Line-Scanning Particle Image Velocimetry: an Optical Approach for Quantifying a Wide Range of Blood Flow Speeds in Live Animals" by Tyson N.
