The PTP daemon (PTPd) implements the Precision Time protocol (PTP) as defined by the IEEE 1588 standard. PTP was developed to provide very precise time coordination of LAN connected computers. PTPd boasts an advanced set of features and is highly configurable.

This software implements the IEC60870-5-104 protocol (client side) for substation data acquisition and control via tcp/ip network using the QT UI Framework. It can be compiled on Linux and Windows platforms. itom is an open source software suite for operating measurement systems, laboratory automation and data evaluation. One main application of itom is the development and operation of sensor and measurement system for instance in a laboratory environment. Therefore, the software has to be able to communicate with a wide range of different hardware systems, such as cameras or actuators and should provide a diversified and as complete as possible set of evaluation and data processing methods. Additionally, the rapid prototyping of modern measurement and inspection setups requires a system, where parameters or components can easily be changed at runtime, necessitating the availability of an embedded scripting language. Finally, when operating a measurement system, it is also desirable to extend the graphical user interface by system adapted dialogs and windows. Card generator for the russian L1-3/L3-3 tube tester. WARNING: The software is still in alpha state, so there are definitely some bugs. If you want to use the created cards for real tests, check them manually with EXTREME care first .. else damage or destruction of your tester can easily occur. ESPECIALLY check if multiple conflicting functions are assigned to the same line (by looking on the universal card), which would lead to shorts. New release! Most of the old bugs should (still, no guarantees) be fixed by now and lots of functionality added. I created a good amount of cards for myself and they were all fine, so I deceided to make a public alpha release again. I also added a short manual (only German by now, translation soon follows) including a few examples. If anything gets wrong, please report to me. I need your reports to fix bugs. You can help move this to beta ;).

With this software and a simple external hardware, the sound card input of a PC can be used to measure stationary or slowly changing analog signals (e.g. voltages). The hardware converts the input signal into a voltage proportional frequency. The software measures the frequency via the sound card and calculates the corresponding input signal level which is displayed numerically and in a “scope-like” view.

Qi is a collection of MATLAB tools for the quantitative analysis of flow field images. Our Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) tool, prana, implements a Robust Phase Correlation kernel for PIV analysis, and now includes Particle Tracking Velocimetry and sizing tools. Tools for pressure calculation, proper orthogonal decomposition (POD), and 3d imaging are under development.

TEACUP automates many aspects of running TCP performance experiments in a specially-constructed physical testbed. TEACUP enables repeatable testing of different TCP algorithms over a range of emulated network path conditions, bottleneck rate limits and bottleneck queuing disciplines. TEACUP utilises a text-based configuration file to define experiments as combinations of parameters specifying desired network path and end host conditions. When multiple values are provided (e.g. for TCP congestion control algorithm), an experiment is made up of multiple tests. For each experiment and test, TEACUP collects a range of data, such as tcpdump files of traffic seen or TCP stack information (e.g. using Web10G). TEACUP also collects a variety of metadata from the end hosts and bottleneck router, such as the actual OS/kernel version(s) used. TEACUP also provides some simple tools for analysing the results of experiments, such as plotting a flow's experienced RTT over time.

Experix is a command-line driven environment for laboratory data acquisition and device control and graphical presentation and analysis of data. Written in C for GNU-Linux . Tested on PC and Raspberry Pi. The core is written very generally in order to support applications by means of script files. Device interfaces: PCMCIA daq (2 devices tested) via kernel module with interrupt handler and memory-mapped data; USB daq (1 device tested) using libusbx; running an equipment servicing program via pipes. Interfaces accessible via commands and scripts: file i/o modelled on stdio and stdlib; usb control and bulk transfers; socket operations; webcam; graphics via framebuffer. Applications (not all available yet for download) include: cell poker (like an atomic force microscope); tissue mechanical tester; fluorescence photobleaching; alternating laser excitation fluorescence; fluorescence intensity distribution analysis; iverilog simulation analysis.

We needed a datalogger, we found one. But the supplied VB6 program was very crappy, _really_ unusable, even on old XP machines. So I did mine, able to run under windows and linux. All the fun was to reverse the (binary) RS232 protocol. Our is a YC-727D with 2 thermocouple inputs, but the protocol is the same for 1, 2, 3 or 4 inputs models (YC-717, YC-727, YC-737, YC-747). Bytes orders needs to be checked for 3th and 4nd channels tough.

It is intended for use with traditional geodetic surveying which are still used and needed in special measurements (e.g., underground or high precision engineering measurements) . Qgama is a Qt based user interface for GNU Gama adjustment of geodetic networks in which XML input is complemented with a database. The project "Sippie" is an additional tool for automatically converting Wireshark-Traces to XML - scenarios, which can be easily used as infile for the OpenSource SIPp test tool and traffic generator.

VDT - Visual Disk Test : performs I/O tests on files, partitions, and/or disks with visual feedback/follow-up, offering flexible test area selection by size, location, percent, or combinations thereof, plus test duration control by time or size.

Interface to collect data from a Consort R305 unit via RS-232. It allows to record data from 2 units with a total of 4 channels. The graphical interface displays the value of the channels as graphs and saves them in a CSV file.

The Arduino routines (.ino) control light-on timing under various entrainment schemes and measures general movements using PIR and the light level using CdS in three animal chambers. It provides a practical and immediate interface to represent your data in the best possible way. Every widget is drawed using HTML5 Canvas API in a Javascript based environment. Drinks was born to allow users to easily realize custom dashboards without any programming knowledge, infact, you can use your instrument on a webpage simply using HTML tags, or using BarMan IDE to create your applications in a click. DRINKS Toolkit (hardware and software) are released as Open Source project.

A part of commercial Digital Signal Oscilloscope hasn't a support for *nix systems, we want to fill the gap and build a full port of windows Easy Scope 3.0 software for ATTEN/LeCroy/SIGLENT/B&K Precision products.

This project goal is to provide a way to get screenshot and channels data from digital storage oscilloscope.
