    Python library for fab/lab control

    Allows one to program fablab (factory and/or laboratory) in the same way as we program computer. Imagine commands like: "dim screw12 as new screw" or "mold(form_piston_081212, brass)" or ''gear(3)=lasercut(steel2,"biggear.gc")". This approach will let us program highly automated and self-deploying or even self-replicating factories. I am more engineer than programmer and just beginner in python. So it looks like community help will be needed :)

    2012 ASEE Competition Entry: ρ-bot
    Design and build two autonomous robots (A and B) that can complete a total of four laps of a relay race. At the start, Robot A must begin behind the start line with a golf ball onboard that represents a mailbag. After completing the first lap, Robot A must pass the golf ball to Robot B in the space between the start and finish lines. This sequence continues until Robot B crosses the finish line on the 4th lap. Teams will have a maximum time of 120 seconds to complete the four laps.

    3D tracking of 4 IR LEDs using 2 wiimotes and python

    This project is a part of a mini project required by the Mechatronics-2 course for the 4th year Mechatronics class in faculty of engineering Ainshams university. The mini project involves the control of an articulated robotic arm which resembles a human arm. The control is done via tele-manipulation which is done by the tracking of 4 IR LEDs fixed at the joints of the controller arm. This code is the part of the project responsible for the interfacing with the wiimote, stereo-triangulation of the wiimote data and determining the 3D coordinates of the IR LEDs.
