...Since then, many scientists from all over the world have contributed to its development. REDUCE has a long and distinguished place in the history of computer algebra systems. Other systems that address some of the same issues but sometimes with rather different emphasis are Axiom, Derive, Macsyma (Maxima), Maple, Mathematica and MuPAD. REDUCE primarily runs on either Portable Standard Lisp (PSL) or Codemist Standard Lisp (CSL), both of which are included in the SourceForge distribution. By modern standards, REDUCE is a surprisingly small and compact application, which runs well on all major operating systems.

AcMus is a project on musical acoustics devoted to the development of models and computer tools for the study of room acoustics and focus on helping the investigation of issues related to the design, control and acoustic treatment of environments. AcMus has not been maintained for a few years now, but the code may still be useful. We consider the current repository to be at https://gitlab.com/ccsl-usp/acmus .

Originated in summer 2007 as a collection of C compiled for Matlab (MEX) files and was eventually ported to a standalone C++ application with a GUI created in Qt.
