MaxFem is an open software package for electromagnetic simulation by using finite element methods. The package can solve problems in electrostatics, direct current, magnetostatics and eddy-currents. Since version 0.4.0, MaxFEM requires Python 3. We have moved the installers to the MaxFEM website (see below). In order to improve MaxFEM, we will require you to fill out a simple form before downloading them.

A maximum likelihood fitting package based on ROOT/RooFit for HEP. The fitting is driven by a text file and includes the following main options: 1) fitting, plotting and extraction of PDFs; 2) fitting of maximum likelihood models; 3) creation of projection and sPlot plots; 4) scanning about maximum likelihood minima; 5) combination of maximum likelihood curves with systematic errors for extraction of significance and combined errors; 6) toy studies; 7) means and pulls on fitted observables. The code is designed to work withe versions of ROOT > 5.28 and has been tested on RedHat 5, Scientific Linux 5 and Mac OSX.

Aciqra is a virtual planetarium and sky mapping program which tracks celestial bodies including planets, deep sky objects and stars to an accuracy of a fraction of a degree for thousands of years into both the future and the past. It includes the 2.5 million stars of the Tycho-2 catalog supplemented by data of 120,000 stars from the Hipparcos catalog, 13,000 deep space objects from the NGC and IC catalogs and a large number of asteroids and comets from the Minor Planet Center. The program is platform-independent and can be made to work on most modern computers that support OpenGL.

InterferenceSimulator is a program demonstrating quantal two-slit Fresnel interference patterns with one, the other, or both slits open. A magnetic flux situated between the two slits allows demonstration of the Aharonov–Bohm effect. Simulations with short de Broglie wavelengths illustrate the classical limit of quantum mechanics. Because of the universality of wave phenomena, this program can also demonstrate the geometrical-optics limit of wave optics for small wavelengths.
