    gVirtualXRay

    gVirtualXRay

Virtual X-Ray Imaging Library on GPU

gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL). SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. It provides wrappers to Python, R, Ruby, Tcl, C#, Java, and GNU Octave.

    Advanced Simulation Library

    Free multiphysics simulation software package

Advanced Simulation Library (ASL) is a free and open source multiphysics simulation software package. Its computational engine is based, among others, on the Lattice Boltzmann Methods (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lattice_Boltzmann_methods) and is written in OpenCL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) which enable extraordinarily efficient deployment (http://asl.org.il/benchmarks) on a variety of massively parallel architectures, ranging from inexpensive FPGAs, DSPs and GPUs up to...

    VOpR

VOpR - a virtual optical rail

VOpR - A Virtual Optical Rail VOpR allows to create and evaluate simple optical systems, in which the basic optical elements are arranged along the optical axis. The current supported optical elements are: spaces, spherical lenses, circular apertures and flat blocks of some optical medium. The program has three main components: 1. The database editor. Currently the database can store data about: -optical materials, -spherical lenses, -projection properties of light sensors and...

    Aciqra

    Aciqra

A virtual planetarium for observers of the real sky.

Aciqra is a virtual planetarium and sky mapping program which tracks celestial bodies including planets, deep sky objects and stars to an accuracy of a fraction of a degree for thousands of years into both the future and the past. It includes the 2.5 million stars of the Tycho-2 catalog supplemented by data of 120,000 stars from the Hipparcos catalog, 13,000 deep space objects from the NGC and IC catalogs and a large number of asteroids and comets from the Minor Planet Center. The program is...

    iCorrector

A program for interference effects correction in PL excitation spectra

The iCorrector is aimed to model and correct the interference fringes affecting the photoluminescence excitation spectra of thin-film dielectric samples. The calculations of the interference profile are performed taking into account the experimental conditions: excitation light incidence angle, wavelength range, luminescent centers distribution. An excitation field depth distribution map (*.bmp), normally calculated by the IMD software (D.L. Windt) is required for the calculations. The...

    radlab

    radlab

Virtual Radiation Detection and Measurement Laboratory Software

Radiation detection and measurement education is necessary for a wide variety of people working with radiation. The equipment and laboratory setup needed for delivering this education are expensive and difficult to assemble due to the large variety of the type of experiments that are desirable to cover. For a basic education one needs to have gamma, beta, alpha and neutron sources, at least one detector to detect each type of radiation and other supplemental instrumentation to perform...
