We utilize technologies such as web-based APP, 2.4G wireless data transceiver, STC micro-controller, various sensors (temperature/humidity/brightness/air pressure/PIR/etc.), to construct an integrated solution of modern home automation. The system provides features such as remotely control your home appliances, lights, etc. Also, various sensors are supported to sense your home environment, and act on real time status accordingly. For instance, if there are people home, and light is dark, the system will automatically turn on the lamps. Once people are gone, system will turn it off. -

It's based on PHP using the advanced home automation (AHA) interface of a modern Fritz!Box device. Needs a tiny Linux machine with SSH to host it. It should also be easily adoptable to support Nagios & others. This project aims to provide a method for listening on a serial port and decode incoming messages from a Galaxy security control panel. The messages are transmitted using the SIA DC-03-1990.01 (R2000.11) protocol. The decoded messages are stored in a database (MySQL) or forwarded by email using ssmtp. Besides just listening for messages openGalaxy can also be used to arm/disarm the panel and much more... This software is still in a testing (beta) phase but has been tested successfully... -
