BDReader is intended to be a comfortable comics reader. As a main feature, BDReader includes an auto panels detection on comics pages. It allows you to display the panels (or squares) of a comic page individually, in the reading order. It also offers a Preview page option, allowing you to preview each page before reading into details the different panels of the page as well as a page thumbnails view. BDReader supports classic comic book formats: CBR, CBZ, PDF (...) as well as images archives and image folders. If you like reading comics on your computer and are fed up with zooming/dezooming all time to have the right reading size, give it a try ! PhotoKit is a photo browser with impressive 3D effects and many slide effects. Features: 3D effects Slide effects (my another project NextEffect). Multi-touch (e.g. on N9) EXIF information. Share images to sina weibo. (for Chinese users) Online images with Google image search. Build debian package (make deb). PhotoKit can not manager photos now, just viewing. It will be possible in the future. The UI of PhotoKit is based on Qt graphics framework (except filedialog), so you will have the same experience on all platforms. On N9, it only supports landscape mode because the limitation of QWidget. At the begining, i just use many QWidget based components, but they are very ugly on Harmattan, so I have to wrote these components using graphics framework, e.g. button, textinput and dialog. Guetzli is a JPEG encoder that aims for excellent compression density at high visual quality. Guetzli-generated images are typically 20-30% smaller than images of equivalent quality generated by libjpeg. Guetzli generates only sequential (nonprogressive) JPEGs due to faster decompression speeds they offer. Get a copy of the source code, either by cloning this repository, or by downloading an archive and unpacking it. Install libpng. If using your operating system package manager, install development versions of the packages if the distinction exists. Run make and expect the binary to be created in bin/Release/guetzli. Note that Guetzli is designed to work on high quality images. You should always prefer providing uncompressed input images (e.g. that haven't been already compressed with any JPEG encoders, including Guetzli). While it will work on other images too, results will be poorer. You can try compressing an enclosed sample high quality image.
