This is a simple but sophisticated open source password recovery tool for M$ Windows, it can effectively 'crack' any password protected archive that can be decompressed by 7zip given enough time and resources. It can also bruteforce MD2, MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-2 hashes (SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512), CRC16, CRC32, CRC64 and Adler32 hashed passwords for both Windows, and Linux. It requires java 7u4 and above, and 7-zip v9.20 and up for archive recovery. Password safe for Windows and Linux. If you want to manage your passwords (or other information) in one file and access that file with Windows and with Linux, this could be your choice. You create trees where each knot and leaf contains as many key/value pairs as you like. Then the whole thing is written encrypted to one file. Windows binaries and Debian32/64 binaries are downloadable. If you want to build it yourself - I suggest Linux users do that - get Qt4, call qmake and make in the directory where the .pro file is and you should be done. When building with Windows I suggest MinGw. The encryption is taken from a c-sample from Bruce Schneiers site. If someone could check it, that would be nice. Fleeting Password Manager is a simple program that generates highly secure pseudo-random passwords from the given master password, URL/ID (e.g. facebook, www.facebook.com, google, my_server..) and user name. The user needs to remember only her master password to recover other passwords. Passwords are always regenerated on-the-fly from the given login data when needed and are never saved. In other words, Fleeting Password Manager combines the password creation and management. The length of the generated password is configurable between 8 and 32 characters and Fleeting Password Manager can remember wanted URL/User-pairs. This tool allows you to set proxied access for your users, using predefined FTP accounts. System works like this: Users connects to FTP proxy just like they do with a regular FTP, but using specially formed string as a username (string, that includes their internal profile name and desired target FTP) and their internal password. If they are allowed to access this host, proxy will establish connection with a target FTP and authenticate using real credentials. After that, server will act as a proxy between user and target FTP, forwarding requests back and forth. -
