PrometheOS is a Desktop and portable Operating System based on Gentoo Linux which aim to boost Linux performances and responsiveness on Desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices. I do work on this project on my spare time so things are a bit slow proceeding, but there is already some screenshot of "the thing" working on some of my test systems.
