PrometheOS is a Desktop and portable Operating System based on Gentoo Linux which aim to boost Linux performances and responsiveness on Desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices. I do work on this project on my spare time so things are a bit slow proceeding, but there is already some screenshot of "the thing" working on some of my test systems. I always wanted to have an operating system that is very fast, secure, open and that give best supports to games, mobile life (so working on all my devices and sharing notifications among them etc...) and that offers native support for anonymity on the internet. ...

A new kernel I am developing in my spare time. The eventual solution I hope will involve a 32 bit base kernel and 64 bit extensions therefore maximising compatibility with non 64 bit machines. Database oriented. Checkout http://www.love2code.org UPDATE 18-Dec-2011 Updates haven't occurred for some time (April) due to working and studying for my Computer Science degree at the University of Ulster, but it's Christmas!

I'm tring to bring this kernel full process ,interrupt and Memory management,real time ability，and FS（which will been add in the next major version). Although there's a long way to go,I'm glade to devote my spare time in it.
