...:) The comparison to script shipped with kernel (circa 2012): 1) gmil works or attempts to work across many releases 2) gmil works harder to make packaged installable result(s) 3) gmil has a smart way to build many kernels at once / at a keypress 4) the scripts/ _can do most of those steps but _don't combine them, leaving maybe allot to read and type. Raresh's Linux Distribution is the result of ZintoriOS (this why the first released version is a 2.0) It is an easy to use Ubuntu-based Linux distribution which is stylish and (typically) makes sense to both Windows and OS X users. It uses XFCE to provide the default UI which is customizable to any user's liking and it also contains LXDE (not finished) for computers with hardware that requires lighter UI elements.

...This project is an attempt to develop an optimized operating system which can be used to replace MS-DOS, adding new modern features. This operating system is completely written by me in 2004, as a result of about 5 years full research and development. And now in 2014, I want to publish it to the world. This operating system supports FAT12 file system, and allow to run many MS-DOS applications.

The user-mode kernel port is a port of the Linux kernel which runs in a set of processes. The result is a user-mode virtual machine and a kernel which can be debugged and developed using all of the usual process-level tools.

Project aims to simplify Linux kernel analysis and development. Primary audience to the result of project will be (under)graduate students attending "Operating system" courses. It is our intention to make advances with every generation of students.
