The Network Tracking Database (NetDB for short) tracks all changes to the MAC address tables on your switches and the ARP tables on your routers over time stored in MySQL. It supports extensive switch, VLAN and vendor code reports from a CLI or Web App. NetDB can generate CSV reports, track the usage of static IP addresses, record neighbor discovery data and much more. This is a very simple web interface for management of static DHCP leases in DNSmasq and Mikrotik. It generates config files for DNSmasq and uses RouterOS API to manage Mikrotik. Network devices (usually PCs) are separated into subnets by department and use triplets (hostname, MAC address, IP address) for identification. Information is stored in MySQL and only exported by your explicit desire. -

dhcp-gen is a perl script that was written by me and Trond Erik Dalho to simplify editing dhcpd.conf for adding static ip to computers and equipment on our school. It also made it easier to do manage the network by limiting some computers access to the local network only. Creating closed networks. And it also worked as a database over all our computers and equipment, making it easier to keep track of everything. All information about equipment is stored inside csv files which are comma separated. -
