The EdytorNC project now consists of four applications that can be useful for programming and operating CNC machine tools. EditorNC is a specialised text editor for CNC programmers. FTPserver is a simple FTP server for transferring cnc programs to and from the machine. SerialPortFileServer is a simple server for transferring cnc programmes to and from the machine via RS232 ports. ProgramManager is a program that makes it easy to search for cnc programs based on, for example, part number, part name contained in the first three comments in the cnc program. Some EdytorNC features : bolt holes calculation; solutions of triangles calculation; speed, feed calculation; conversion inch/mm, mm/inch; code colouring; RS232 data transmission with automatic file saving and possibility to download new CNC program directly from machine (beta function, look in tool tips in serial port configuration dialog). Parametric analysis is often needed for exploring design options, especially when a global optimization method is not available, or the optimization result is in doubt. Parametric analysis can also be applied to all design variables simultaneously, which forms an exhaustive search that, providing that the search grid is fine enough, will guarantee a global optimum solution. In order to perform complex parametric analyses on multiple parameters with more than a handful of alternative values each, a tool to generate commands for the simulation model to run, and to collect results afterwards will be needed. jEPlus has been developed as such a parametric tool for EnergyPlus. ADiGator
A MATLAB Automatic Differentiation Tool
ADiGator is a source transformation via operator overloading tool for the automatic differentiation of mathematical functions written in MATLAB. Given a user written file, together with information on the inputs of said file, ADiGator uses forward mode automatic differentiation to generate a new file which contains the calculations required to compute the numeric derivatives of the original user function. Furthermore, these calculations are written entirely in the native MATLAB language, and thus the process may be repeated to obtain nth order derivative files. The package is particularly appealing for applications where the same derivative must be found at multiple different points, i.e. non-linear root finding/optimization, stiff ode integration, etc. -

It provides a general basis for describing wave transformations from deep water to a beach, port or harbour, complex changes to rapidly varied flows, and density driven flows in coastal seas, estuaries, lakes and rivers.

itom - an Open Source Measurement, Automation and Evaluation Software
itom is an open source software suite for operating measurement systems, laboratory automation and data evaluation. One main application of itom is the development and operation of sensor and measurement system for instance in a laboratory environment. Therefore, the software has to be able to communicate with a wide range of different hardware systems, such as cameras or actuators and should provide a diversified and as complete as possible set of evaluation and data processing methods. Additionally, the rapid prototyping of modern measurement and inspection setups requires a system, where parameters or components can easily be changed at runtime, necessitating the availability of an embedded scripting language. Finally, when operating a measurement system, it is also desirable to extend the graphical user interface by system adapted dialogs and windows. TFEL/MFront
TFEL/MFront introduces DSLs based on C++ to handle material knowledge
The TFEL library is a collaborative effort of the French Atomic Commission and Électricité de France. TFEL mostly includes the MFront code generator. MFront is based on C++ and provides several domain specific languages which were designed to simplify the implementations of new material properties, mechanical behaviours and simple material models. A particular focus was made on mechanical behaviours which are by essence more complex and may have significant impact on the numerical performances of mechanical simulations. Various performance benchmarks show that the code generated using MFront is in most cases on par or better than other implementations, generally written in Fortran. For mechanical behaviours, MFront introduces interfaces for various finite element or FTT solvers (Cast3M, Code-Aster, ZeBuLoN, Abaqus, Europlexus, AMITEX_FFT, etc..). The authors hope that it will prove usefull for researchers and engineers, in particular in the field of solid mechanics. -

Calculate ASTM E1921 master curve and transition temperature.
T0 Test Evaluation Module (T0TEM) V1.5 calculates the ASTM E1921-19b master curve and T0 temperature for ferritic steels in the ductile-brittle transition region. It creates all required plots for the basic master curve and the inhomogeneity annex. Output is delivered via table or CSV and plots exported as picture files. The program is coded in MATLAB 2021a using App Designer. Use of T0TEM V1.5 is possible without a MATLAB license by utilizing the free MATLAB Runtime Version 9.10. This program was created by NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center. -

SolTrack is a simple, free, fast and accurate C/C++ routine to compute the position of the Sun. The code can be used to track the Sun on low-specs machine, such as a PLC or a microcontroller, and can be used for e.g. (highly) concentrated (photovoltaic) solar power. SolTrack has been developed by Marc van der Sluys, Paul van Kan and Jurgen Reintjes, of the Lectorate of Sustainable Energy at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, The Netherlands. The code is based on the astronomical Fortran library libTheSky and can be used, modified and distributed under the conditions of version 3 of the GNU Public Licence. -

Yet Another Finite Element Method Solver
YAFEMS (Yet Another Finite Element Method Solver) is a FEM solver for Linux and WIndows that reads a MED mesh file produced by Salome (http://www.salome-platform.org/) with certain groups created into the mesh, and with the help of an input text file (.yaf), performs a 3D or 2D plane stress or plane strain analysis and creates results in plain text format and in MED format. This way a complete analysis can be carried inside Salome, where a mesh file can be created, exported and read by YAFEMS with the help of a .yaf input file and post-processed within Salome using ParaView. New in v0.4 - More performance boost due to the implementation of the Cuthill-McKee algorithm. -
